What are people's thoughts on him? I follow him on Twitter. I believe he co-hosts a broadcast with Rob Pate.
I was reading some of his tweets from yesterday. Based on his tweets he believes it's time for a change at QB

He was a good OC when he had Bo Jackson.

Crowe is on Gameday Bunker with Pate. I've read some of the stuff and it is certainly a popular opinion. Crowe was an average head coach but an OC for a long time so he does know about quarterbacks and the mindset of players.

He was an OC at Auburn back when Bo was here in the early 80s, then he has been at several other SEC schools and was a head coach at Jacksonville State.

Seems I remember an interview with him and he said Coach Dye would fire him 3 or 4 times a game.

I've met Coach Crowe on multiple occassions and have heard him speak at small Auburn gatherings. He is still very connected to certain members of Auburn's coaching staff. He is a great speaker, especially in a small, "private" setting, because he tells it like it is. Before the LSU game he basically said that it looked like JJ was afraid to get hit. He said that we were screwed until we made JJ a threat to run, because the defenses could ignore him and tee off on the RBs.
