Just ran one in for the Pats and he has as many rushing TDs as Herschel Walker does.

Thought this deserved its own thread. Also, might be good to take to the Rant...

It’s rant worthy now. We’re talking low bar content here. Just update it every few weeks with a “Cam has X more TDs than Walker” thread

That’s high bar content for the SEC Rant

McDaniels has got to know better than to run into the teeth of a loaded box with everyone packed in there though. Spread them out if you're going to dive it like that.

That had been working all game.

Thought they were going to run a play off that in that situation though. Like a jump pass or something

I like the call. The FB got absolutely destroyed and blew up the whole play. If they do anything but that play, we are all wondering why they didn’t and calling it a repeat of Seattle in the SB.

It works when it's not the obvious call.

Sometimes you have to work smart. See the fake on the TD a few drives prior. McDaniels failed here.

Oh for crying out loud it's week 2 lol. No comparison.

There’s no comparison for the stakes, but the situation itself was eerily similar. You had an offensive rusher who had been unstoppable and needed a yard. Difference in the SB is they had time for an incompletion.

If NE passes and doesn’t get it, everyone is on here saying they should have won. We’ve all got impeccable hindsight

As a second month patriots fan I’m qualified to be outraged with the playcalling. I’m ready to talk super bowl, though

I am a old school Patriots fan because of Tom Brady.

Now I am perplexed. Cam will keep my Pats fandom going if he continues handling himself so well.

But if I make it to the Tampa Bay Area before Brady dies, I will re-evaluate. .

I agree.

I read where this play had no WRs and extra linemen, so Seahawks knew it was all Cam.

The problem is, when its a win or lose play, those don't always work, just because it worked earlier in the game.

The best option to me was to spread them out, and then let Cam decide to run power.

Cam said he thought of other things he could have done(dive over, run outside...etc), but to me they had stuffed that side totally and he had no running room inside or out.

It had been working all game when it was obvious. Same formation. Same people put in motion.

I thought it was time for a fake like I said but it’s not a totally dumb call
