That was only random people supposedly “seeing” him in random places around Auburn. Nothing confirmed.

This USC visit is being reported by Scott Schrader who is a USC On beatwriter.

Did anyone really believe USC wasn’t always the destination?

It’s just a visit to USC. He hasn’t committed to them yet, at least not publicly. USC is probably the favorite with Ole Miss the 2nd most likely destination, but Auburn is still a possibility, among others.

Just read the main teams in contention for CW are UCLA, Miami, LSU, and AUBURN.

I have seen it, but I have said from the beginning Caleb has one destination and it’s USC and Riley. Riley has the pedigree of NFL QB’s. All the other noise is just him playing the game. USC also has the NIL to match or exceed the others.

Riley absolutely wants the talented QB that knows his system. He told the powers of USC, pay him and we are contenders for the Pac 12.

He was going to USC the entire time. He is playing Auburn for more money in NIL from USC.

Don't care. I hope Caleb gets as much as he can...at Auburn or wherever. Hope they all get theirs. I think the only thing that breaks the lock that programs like Bama have on recruiting is the free market and the NIL.

While the "rich will get richer" is an important axiom to pay attention to, cash is king. And it's the only thing that will overcome the other privleges programs like Bama have. I'm not saying Saban isn't a good coach. But there are other good coaches. The advantages like having all major media outlets in a state at your disposal, layers of people in power ready to cover for your players sins—those are things harder to match.

Only cash will get programs close.

I get it's the Wild West right now. But this is only NIL 1.0. We'll get to NIL 2.0, 3.0, etc. Rules will come. But game is evolving, and evolution is nothing, if not painful.
