Only way to get through this is for it to come to loggerheads with a lawsuit to expose all parties and let the chips fall where they may. Burn this motherfricker down. It’s the only way out. So disgusted with Auburn football right now.

Will be easy to prove who started the rumor if it isn’t true.

If everything proves to have been untrue....

Sports Illustrated was banned from Auburn for a time because of outright lies about the program. When your star football player is dating the Head Coaches daughter and spends a lot of time in Shug's home...Then publishes an article that claims Shug never sees his players, never talks to them etc etc ...

There are a lot of blowing in the wind type sports journalists that need to be denied access to the program.

I’ll never understand why Auburn fans are so desperate to shite on the PTB that are Auburn fans that pour money into Auburn athletics instead of the a-hole 6-7 coach that has no support past the potato gang.

Y’all couldn’t handle an above average quarterback playing for Auburn. There is no way y’all could stomach money leaving and the the program getting burnt down.

I cannot speak for everyone but my reasons for being upset is mainly geared towards the following:

1. Problems have allegedly been happening for awhile behind the scenes, yet nothing happened until now.

2. Auburn writers from multiple boards all decided to drop articles detailing Harsin's unknown future the day after signing day

3. All these folks knew Harsin would be on vacation and away from Auburn

4. Social media has run with the affair junk and no auburn boards have quashed it (Maybe they shouldn't censor) - posting the girl's info online does nothing but ruin her life if it's untrue

That being said, I cannot defend Harsin if he is failing to do the things required of him. If I was out of town and all this hit the fan, my arse would be back in my boss's office defending myself.

The PTB is not all Auburn. If they were we wouldn’t have continuous scandals and negative spotlights in the media. If the PTB is behind this and you think they handled this with AUburns interest you are misguided. You can’t love Auburn and attack a coach like this. Just fire him. Many rich people will donate and play a side only to destroy it little by little. Happens in politics ALL the time. So yea, the PTB does not have AU’s interest at heart. I believe Lowder did and that’s why he was run off.

Auburn is bigger than any of us
Auburn is bigger than all of us.

Except the PTB seem to think otherwise.

I do not support firing him for cause. I imagine the PTB has bullets in their chamber and are willing to negotiate a settlement.

I support him being gone.

I have no clue where the affair seed was planted, but I highly doubt it is from Auburn or the beatwriters. If Harsin wants to take legal action, he will lose.

After he has been an a-hole to boosters, players and coaches, maybe they wanted payback? Is it true he didn’t even show up to Bo Jackson’s charity event?

Here is his contract. They might try to get him for that.

I agree with this. Not much else, but definitely this.

Firing him for cause just because he’s a shitty coach means his contract was only empty words.

Apparently he really did skip this and skipped the Georgia recruiting event. I think he sent some assistants instead. I did not even know this happened.

Pretty shitty to skip Bo's event.

The affair is the least of it. That's just an excuse to fire him without paying him. The issue is splitting the team, running off everyone, not taking advantage of the NIL (which shows he has an ego issue bc he won't compete for top players without it), alienating himself from the boosters that help him recruit, and not having the recruiting mentality that is needed in the sec. The longer he stays the more depleted we become and the deeper a hole we have to dig out of.

That article from him right after all this trash came out gave me a really fishy vibe. Don't know why I still let 247 emails through. They'll do anything for clicks.

I'm not sure that it is a willingness to shite on the TPTB instead of a coach, but more in addition to the coach.

TPTB haven't just pulled this silly shite on Harsin. They have done it in the past, will contine to do it until they are exposed and stopped.

Until that happens, and they stop treating Auburn football as a real life fantasy football team, or an attempt to relive (or live for the first time) glory days on the field through the team, Auburn will continue to go through this cycle every 8 to 10 years.

At this point Auburn will not be able to hire a head coach with P5 head coaching experience, and probably not even with P5 coordinator experience. Even once this train wreck is done, Auburn has lost its luster as a destination type job. Do you really think a head coach would want to stay at Auburn with the meddling of boosters if an Oklahoma, Ohio State, or Notre Dame came calling?

I get what you’re saying but it’s already obvious to me Harsin isn’t the answer. People want to act like we are firing him for a bad record however that isn’t the case. He alienates boosters, he disrespected our most famous alumni, he can’t keep decent assistant coaches, and junior day showed he was already behind for 2023 recruiting. Being afraid to correct the initial mistake is how huge negative cycles get started.

This is fear mongering and false. Money and opportunity always awaits at Auburn.

I don't care about his personal life not my or anybody else business.

I hate the way the season ended but that fixable.

If what I read and heard his effort on the recruiting trail sucks. if he sucks at recruiting then he better hire the right people to get it done. he failed so far.
this includes Bo golf, the ga. recruit event and the disasterjr day.

All the coaches leaving with none being a upward move and most be a downward move. that a failure.

I been a Auburn football since before Pat and Terry and this is by far the worst I have ever felt about Auburn football. Thanks Coach Harsin

Like someone else said if this s*it was said about me I would be in there office. Also if I just went 6-7 s-it the recruiting class and the transport portal I would no be on vacation I would be getting straighten out. he fail here too.

All my years on hear and 247 (no longer there but they are good thanks mm and jc) I have never s/it on a player or coach but I have never felt this way before

Not a matter of winning or losing, it’s about exposing the bullshite that goes on at Auburn. Lawsuit is the only way to do it.
