I agree that I don't have a lot of faith we can hire a big name but my point was if we can hit at least a double with the hire, a fix won't be as hard as it would have been 5 years ago. The portal can turn a program around quickly. You don't have to try to recruit and worry about redshirting players any more.

No to Dan Mullen..and while we are at it, NO to Will Muschamp.
Dan Mullen is good for nothing but whining like a spoiled toddler and starting fistfights. Muschamp made too much of a mess at South Carolina. Even though he is a distant cousin, I would give a hard pass.

I mean, I feel like we need to establish "no" to any retread who's coached in the SEC in the past, but isn't currently coaching in the SEC (with a special Muschamp exception since he's the DC at UGA)

I feel like we have no choice but to go the group of 5 or coordinator approach.
And I’m actually on board with that. We need an up and comer with a track record, but we HAVE to have someone with huge recruiting pull on staff
