You can contribute that to it being Nick’s second year in the offense and feeling more comfortable alone. That isn’t significant enough to support Gus as the reason at all.

Y’all trying your hardest to make a liar out of me yet.

Oh well, it’s all moot. We aren’t getting tier 1 coaches.

I’ve got more questions about a Kiffin than I do with a Deion as well and think I’m pushing him down to 2. He recruits like we do and his nerd ball 4th down shite needsto be an experiment elsewhere.

Would you agree that we need a very good salesman for the program to counter all the negative recruiting against us as well as the negative media attention and all the drama?

What can Hugh Freeze sell right now, right this minute? That he made mistakes but is much closer to our Heavenly Father now? Can Bama and Georgia continue to negatively recruit this?

Ask yourself these legitimate questions.

I’m not a Gus stan but The Wizard threw for 600 more yards and 6 more TDs in his second season. So this is a lie.

Now does it have anything to do with Gus’ development? Probably not. Just not gonna stand for any NM slander however unintentional it may be.

54 more attempts. More yards and more tds. It's relative.

Oh look. Lane spent a few recruiting cycles stabilizing OM through the portal and they are beating the hell out of a ranked team.

Ole Miss sure does look good, lead by a guy a lot of people on this board didn’t want after Auburn fired Gus.

2014 Nick Marshall would like a word.

He didn't "develop", man. What happened is that we lost Greg Robinson/Mason/Prosch from 2013 and simultaneously added D'haquille Williams to a further developed Sammie Coates.

We stopped being able to just run the ball on every down in 2014 and naturally transitioned to a more balanced offense - so Marshall threw the ball more. His statistical "improvement" is almost entirely the result of simply throwing the ball more. His rates/percentages were fairly consistent to 2013. Sure, he "improved" some - but some level of natural improvement is expected from a quarterback year over year in the same offensive system.

I mean, let’s say they lose…they’re playing a quality opponent and look very good. Lane Kiffin is a boss.

Chill out people. Quit reacting to one game with coaching hires.

I like Kiffin but UK is overrated. And beating the hell out of somebody isn’t 16-6.

Also for everyone that loves Stoops, you see where his Oline is ranked? Makes me think he’ll be our guy

“transferred from UGA“

He transferred to Garden City CC and balled out as a QB, then signed with Auburn.

His game film @GCCC is insane. Scrambling and slinging the ball all over the place.

Wiki
“ Marshall transferred to Garden City Community College where he was the starting quarterback in 2012 and led the team to a 7–4 record while scoring 37 touchdowns (19 rushing, 18 passing), passing for 3,142 yards, and becoming the team’s leading rusher with 1,095 yards.”

Well, let’s say he does lose, I thought the whole point of changing coaches was to get a winning coach? I’m not sure looking good and lose is what we are all asking for.

By the way I’m fricking with you. Kiffin’s offenses usually do look good.

One game? It is more of Hoover High School has better resources than OM and Lane has built them to a good team.

Nick Marshall is an auburn legend who brought us a ton of joy, some of which we took for granted at the time. Let’s just leave him out of this alright.

Onto Deion - this would be a great place for him to come because Coach Prime said if he was going somewhere else that his son was coming, too. And his son could certainly compete for and win the starting QB job here.

Yes. OM vs UK is one game.

I don’t care if OM wins by 50 or loses by 50. My opinion of Kiffin will mostly be the same because it’s one game.

This isn’t an overreaction over one game. OM has been really good the last two years. Lane Kiffin has built a damned good squad.

Auburn should’ve hired him.
