I'm going to laugh my arse off that we paid Gus Malzahn $25,000,000 to leave and then 2 years later hire the shittier version of him. I don't even give a frick about his transgressions. I'm just talking football.

I hate to say Jang because things have changed so much and again I don't want to be misunderstood on here.
As I understand it Lane pissed some people last Thursday/Friday off by requesting more time. Word is he thought A&M might get in the biding. Then the tweets of the toilet paper and such Saturday. I honestly think Auburn pulled the offer.
Freeze has always been in the running. I would think that the lawyers on both sides, particularly Auburn have asked for documentation to the fact that he was not involved in the Liberty and HS crap and is clean.
No doubt PR and perception has played a big role.
If it is announced it is time for all of us to get behind this hire.

I don’t think Freeze sucks, I think he’s just ok. And just ok is not what we need right now.
