Well I was convinced if was going to be Kiffin. I was wrong. Now the question is why.
The postponement of an announcement until after the IB was the first clue something was happening.
Not buying the reason he stays at ole miss is because his kids love it.
I think concerns kept coming up about LK, but he had been approved by the appropriate people. Was a great fit at Auburn.
Maybe he got word that a surprise opening is actually happening. Look out for TAMU?
If not freeze, then who?

Kiffin, No… I do not think he would. At first I thought he would be a good potential fit. Now I think he would in fact be Gus 2.0. Nothing he has done has shown to be championship tier. Coming to AU will not change his mediocrity.

I am WAY more excited about Freeze than LK from a football standpoint. Lane has never moved the needle football wise and is still incredibly immature.

I was all in on Kiffin, but you can understand how the big money folks at AU didn’t feel good giving him such a big deal after his childish behavior on Twitter. I don’t think we offered him and that’s why he couldn’t say he was staying or leaving
