I think my speculation can be reconcilable. Lane wants a lot of money and our PTB has seen him flounder away from consecutive double digit wins and into the average seasons category and suddenly our PTB isn’t as interested in paying top dollar for him. Just thinking out loud- Kiffin didn’t show he deserves a 11 mil salary this year, however in general Kiffin’s setbacks at Ole Miss can be mitigated at Auburn.
