Who wouldn’t love Coach Prime? A lot here I guess. All I see is everyone raving about Coach Cadillac creating such excitement around this team.

None of this matters.

We’re not hiring Freeze. Period.

We may not end up hiring Kiffin, but Freezus is a non-starter.

I do find it amusing how you continue to white knight for a guy who lost at home to the worst team in the ACC, on a seven game losing streak, whose last road win over a team above .500 was in 2018. But you do you, brAUther

No one is avoiding anything and very aware of Kiffins shortcomings. You aren’t bringing in any breaking news.

You’re just consumed with whatever it is and can’t see the forest for the trees.

Every coach needs to hire a DC that can help the team win big and isn’t a new concept. Don’t have to be a fan of Kiffin to suggest it either. Well he knows how to play in the portal and he can attract talent so that’s more than a glorified OC. You’re being unreasonable but in the end won’t matter wtf you or I think anyway.

I'm sure Auburn is willing to pay whatever it takes to bring excitement and interest back to the football program. The best coaches at the current top programs are worth way more than 12m a year to them. Being stingy on the coaching hire is going to loose you way more than 5 or 6m a year.

He'll, it'll probably lose more than that just in tuition. I started at Auburn the year after 2010 and it was the biggest freshman class in school history by a good margin I think. The amount of money good seasons generate for a university is astronomical.

And had one of the most hyped QB’s in college football coming into 22. How’s Stoops doing this season?

That's what makes it sad. Yall see all his shortcomings and act like he will be the GOAT hire. We literally lowered our standards to just moral victories (yards per game) and wins no matter how bad we do against the top teams. If Cohen thinks that way he needs to be fired.

He was Lane Kiffin fodder

We are about to pay up for Lane Kiffin big time. I predict 10.5 million.

Lane has wins against good to very good teams. And has been close a few other times. Acting like it’s a hard and fast rule that he can’t beat good teams is odd

I’m not acting like anything.

Every coach has flaws genius. I accept I’m not getting perfect. I will take perfection in at least one of the big categories and hope he gets the others dialed in.

Freeze has flaws and not a goat hire. Lots of issues surrounding him but I would take him if they chose to. Hope he gets the rest right. It’s not that difficult man. Settle down.

ON3 hot board didn’t move around any names. Main take away is the job is Kiffin’s to accept or turn down.

Mike Farrell says on his own website that Ole Miss is easier to recruit than Auburn. I hate that guy and have done so for years. Supposedly it’s easier to recruit because they’re not number 2 in that horrible state.

I feel hopeful but there's a thing inside that says "you know we might frick this up..right?"

so until it happens, I will have to not troll and stay cautionary - anything can happen on a coaching search

Whatever Om’s ranking. Is in Mississippi still puts them far below AU.

Farrell is high. OM would have much better recruiting classes over the years. They don’t.
