It's Tuesday and Hars is still our coach.

Calling 6-7 a "losing record" is being very generous since it took the bowl game loss.
You'll have quite a time convincing a few posters here of that

I mean, you don't get a bowl swag bag for having a losing record (2020 not withstanding)

If you throw out the 3 cupcake games (at least should be cupcake games for what should be an elite level SEC school), 7-6 (7-5 plus winning the bowl game) is 4-6 against peer level programs.

I'm beginning to doubt that the $ is there to pay the remainder due to Malzahn & Harsin's buy out.

Not to mention Freeze's in a few years.

I know some of you are much more knowledgeable about off-season goings on than I am. But I remember hearing that Harsin routinely missed high-school functions, missed a golf tournament, scheduled some event on the wrong day, and wasn't big on seeing recruits himself.

Anyone care to give details? Am I remembering right or was this all just BS rumor?

All happened to some degree or another. I said it then and you'll hear a lot more about what was going on when/if he's fired. The guy just had zero clue how to operate at this level.

Justin Hokanson says that Caddy, Etheridge, etc. recruit their asses off, but the other HCs in the SEC recruit circles around Harsin.

I was kinda trolling/provoking but I also legitimately think Mullen is significantly better than Harsin and probably whoever we hire this next time around

Definitely not a better recruiter, which is Harsin’s worst attribute. And not exactly personable, either.

The money is there. Especially with the new TV money deal about to kick in.

Mullen is rich now and just waiting for L. Ron Hubbard to show up in a space ship at this point.

I'd take Charlie Strong before Mullen. I am NOT saying I want Strong either

The other part is what money is lost if he is retained, we continue to struggle, and more and more people tune out?

I would rather just stick with the Potato gang than cousin eddie/quasimodo offspring.

Yeah, he had a solid to good first three years, then train went off the tracks year 4. I’m not seriously touting him because unless he suddenly finds an interest in recruiting he couldn’t win at auburn. I think he’s a better option than Harsin though for sure. You at least get good QB play
