Hoke updated his notes. It was basically all about Kiffin

Believes Kiffin is the top target. “ Money, full autonomy running the program, etc. are the main points that need to be agreed to”

Says 9-10m, 5-7 years. Thinks they’ve talked to Sexton. Thinks Kiffin has examined Auburn’s roster. KN said separately that Kiffin would be likely to keep guys like Caddy and Etheridge

Also thought that this was something that could happen soon

FWIW, still not buying that our pay site guys have this much info. Hoke did mention that this isn’t a done deal and that Cohen could move on

Yeah I'm not buying it. I'm guessing Sexton and Cohen have probably discussed Kiffin on a preliminary basis and we've expressed legit interest but no real movement yet.

out of curiosity - do powerful/executive type people just share these types of private planes? the flight log of destinations doesn't look like it's auburn's plane, at least to me. so i'm just curious how it works if anyone knows

So long as Sexton is involved, I won't believe anything is legit until the presser.

This plane belongs to a company out of Memphis. It’s not uncommon for folks to use these planes if they can’t get a company/school jet (I think OM’s is out of service currently from what I read somewhere) or you want to be more discrete in your travels.

that makes sense! thanks for the insight. i'd heard some sort of things like this but wasn't sure because i'm not an OT baller and don't have access to private airlines

Fairly common for folks that own private jets to rent them out

I think if it was Kiffin and they were as serious as they make it sound (both sides not just Auburn) he wouldn't have anything to gain by staying the last couple of games at OM. He needs asuch time to work on transfers as possible. He may not want to try and coach this team the rest of the year and let CW finish it but he would know he needs to start working on getting players.

I still think people are building their hopes up through the media and there is still nothing but hearsay so far. They are going to be disappointed if they don't end up with one of the top 2 and no one knows what Cohen is thinking. His last hire was Mike Leach.

It's coming from multiple angles that are completely outside the "pay sites". Again, it could be someone from out in left field, but things are moving quickly and it's going to be a statement hire (which is what I've been saying for a while). Not everything is "made up" and "herr durr no one at Auburn knows anything!".

Not saying it’s made up. Don’t get emotional.

I just have my doubts is all

All I know is - If we get Ryan Day (somehow), this website would explode

No shot that he leaves Ohio State but that would raise my meter to 15
