Well he's not a very big smoke screen and not going to do much for momentum after the IB (since he lost to Bama too). I think the media is just working on clicks and subscribers before a likely hire in 2 weeks. He's the safest gamble because no one seems to be a clear front runner like some jobs.

It's odd to use him to hire Freeze. With his whole speech about getting an Auburn fit, I'm wondering if he looks back at Auburn talking to Freeze before.

It's just a waste to me to act like we are taking another sec's coach and not. It makes it look like we are not good enough to get him away and make OM looked better.
