Not sure. He’s a MSU grad and former baseball player who was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, and he hired the pirate. That’s about all I know about him.

He was deemed “unhireable” because they slapped a show cause on him again for HAVING A BBQ.

But since you brought it up Freeze wasn't raping kids or condoning it like some want to compare. His was more in line with Bob Petrino if true.

Before all of you shite on Freeze, OM was hit by the NCAA for things under Nutt and Freeze. They had institutional issues. I haven't seen any info Freeze was actually using the escort services himself. OM administration were shady AF. I think his preacher vibe is weird though

Who the hell knows what is going to happen. We all hoped we would have an AD by now. It’s only been a year that everyone knew AG was leaving.
I really hoped we would make a hire today and announce at the game tmw.
With freeze agreeing to this contract, which I know means nothing, what is everyone’s take? Maybe his agent knows it’s not happening, that we are going another direction? Or maybe Liberty is getting nervous and is getting ahead of it to see if they have his commitment?

They had a system in place when Freeze was hired. He just played along. He is a fantastic football coach though.

Poker, it is more complicated than that. Everyone else is cheating above the table too. There are newcomers and new strategies. Lines shift and games change. Even if we put his bad reputation aside for being a scum you still cannot say for certain he will able to recruit in a new environment like he once did.

Nothing has changed with Freeze. The only thing that matters is the buyout. Freeze isn't signing a contract that won't let him easily leave. This is an optics move for Liberty and company.
His buyout is marginal.
None of this means that Roberts will ever sign off on hiring him. But for those jumping to conclusions about this "taking him out of the picture", think again lol.

Yeah I’d be shocked if this new contract involves a significant buyout. Freeze has all the leverage with Liberty and can pretty much get whatever kind of contract he wants from them. No way he agreed to a large buyout unless he just absolutely loves it there and is content never having a shot at making the playoffs.
