He was out delivering chicken biscuits today before the game to the students in line and thanking them for being there. Saying "War Eagle! We appreciate your support!" Pretty amazing for a highly paid Final Four coach to be that humble and to "get it" like that. He knows what publicity will spin out into social media by doing that. No wonder our arena is as packed and raucous as it is. I am constantly impressed by this guy in every facet of his 'game' on an off the court. He is the real McCoy. Maybe the greatest coach in our history, regardless of sport. He built that program from scratch.

He is the best. His energy and personality are unmatched. I hope we can keep him until he retires.

His energy is amazing. He seems like a perfect leader of young men.

Don't forget winning brings out the fans.

I guess everyone needs to give Jay Jacobs credit for hiring him.

He is the best hire we could have made and proud to have him.... We should all be thankful Leath is gone and that he wasn’t fired by the under qualified second tier hire...

His energy is contagious, but knowing the team will play with energy and be prepared for their opponent is what makes it so easy to watch a team he coaches.

I saw the video on FB today of him with the student pregame. Give the man whatever contract he wants for as long as he wants. I’ll be happy to donate to the effort.

At this point it's a certainty. During his show cause he described his dream school to a T, it was AU. He wanted a school that was crazy about football, hasn't been that great at basketball, but would put the money in to get the basketball program up.

The arena will be named after him, he knows he can have a long lasting legacy at AU. He'll certainly retire at AU.
