WR Anthony Schwartz posted this on his IG story this evening. Seems like he will not be playing in the Citrus Bowl:

We practiced today. Schwartz still in Florida

This wouldn’t necessarily mean anything for next year would it?

Technically no but it’s not a great sign for him returning

He has been on the more vocal/dramatic side throughout this coaching change. I won't be surprised if he is gone. Seems pretty loyal to Gus.

No Problem...

If he doesn't want his scholarship the he needs gone before year's end and I'd tell him kid we all know you're a fast mover.

Hopefully Gus gives him a call and convinces him to stay. After all, we are paying him 21 mil to do nothing. Also, if I were coach Harsin I would by Skyping him immediately and letting him to know how he will be a part of our plan next year. If we are to have any success next year, Schwartz would be a big piece to the puzzle.

I would take Schwartz back next year, but he is in no way a deal breaker for this team. Flash can stretch a defense, but he is not a polished enough route runner or have the hands to be an All-SEC type player yet. I hope he comes back and we coach him up, but at this point I want guys back that are willing to buy into the new coach and ready for the challenge ahead.

In offense the only two guys I think are must to have back next year are Tank and Nix. On defense I hope we get some of the guys in our secondary back.

Nix is staying. I think part of this coaching change was done for Bo. I said it a couple months back. The kid needs a coach that can actually coach QBs.

If they're a cancer it doesn't matter if the form's fast or slow you cut it out.

And no I don't know why he doesn't want to play this weekend. It could be he want's nothing to do with Harsin and easy as it could be not wanting anything to do with Steele. However at this point in time any player needs to speak real plain in public, definitely not be cryptic on twitter, and if it's not something team beneficial to GTFO and be gone fast.

And being a Schwartz, a worm, a BO, or a tank, doesn't matter... because it'd just be a little deeper cut to heal and recover from.

I don’t know how he could believe that Gus fully utilized his talent.

But either way, either get here or get going elsewhere. He’s best for track so maybe he just sticks there.

Interesting that our pay sites have not posted about this. Our so called insiders, crickets.

Amazing how you guys jump to conclusions on shite information still.

We should probably wait and find out what is going on really before we throw a guy to the dogs who has been incredibly important and faithful.

Unreal

Or he could be looking at his prospects for track season and thinking that playing in a meaningless bowl game that even his family would be unable to attend, playing for a bunch of coaches that almost certainly won’t be on staff past January 2nd, is not worth the risk of injury.

We’ll find out eventually. No sense in getting worked up about it either way.

I normally wouldn't advocate for us to pass on a bowl game, but this year we should have.

We replaced our head coach and are only getting like 5 days of additional practices instead of the usual month of bowl prep.

I would say it is a nice reward for the seniors, but they may all return. I see no benefit in playing other than whatever the purse/payout is.

Yeah, I'm with you, but the cryptic tweets are immature and narcissistic. No need for that crap, if you're staying, stay. If you're going, go.

With his speed and a good combine he can make an nfl roster.

No reason for Schwartz to come back.

Not to mention there is still a very real chance the game will get canceled, just like the MCB. Not sure what happens to the payout in that case.
