Aw come on. He's 6 2 on the roster. Which everyone knows is at most 6 1.5 in reality. Yes, considering he doesn't have "special" speed or shiftiness, this will cause scouts to pause. Won't be a deal breaker though.

He looks like a 4.65 or better runner. He is clearly a plus athlete overall and has proven that game after game. He is as athletic as Matt Corral while being considerably better built and less fragile. He's not 6'4 but he's also not "short" or "small". Corral measured 6'1 and 5/8ths and a light 212 pounds.

Watch this 80 yard TD run. He runs past everyone. No, he's not Mike Vick fast but you're dead wrong on the "measurables" being lacking.

I’ll just disagree. Again I believe a severe underestimation of NFL players. Talent and traits always matter.

He’s fast and Corral is a good comparison. That’s a case for him making it. On the bad side, though no fault of his own, Corral hasn’t done anything.

I vehemently disagree if you’re saying Bo doesn’t have the talent.

I just don’t think he has the overall makeup of a NFL guy.

He beat out a 5* with a 70 yard arm.

If he didn’t get rattled he couldve made it in the NFL.

Tons of career backups aren’t super talented. For the record I don’t think Bo is a top 30 NFL QB talent but definitely top 60.

I’d have to see your list of 2nd 30 that Bo compares to.

Joshua brainy Dobbs, Brock Purdy, Colt McCoy, Trace Mcsorley

Not reading this whole thread. I just wanna point out that Bo Nix graduated from Auburn. As in, he got his degree here. What more do you want from him?

I realize he’s no longer at Auburn. I’m waiting on you guys to realize that fact and move on.

When you’ve cooked filet mignon and your wife hands you salisbury steak because the best is for the guests I hope you choke on it after refusing to move on.

Nix was Chuck steak at best: some good bites and some like chewing a tire.

Brock Purdy and Trace Mcsorley don't seem to fit the criteria. Could be missing something The Brock Purdy example seems disingenuous.

I'll give you Colt McCoy if he's not really 64th or something like that, he's horrible. I could care less about the NFL.

This seems to indicate how touch and go Nix's NFL future will be. Far from a sure thing back up. It will be a catch 22 to be a backup - yes you need experience, but he won't have any experience.

I don’t understand your criteria then. Purdy is 6’1 and doesn’t have jets

I don't believe he's really in the top 60 if he's playing for the 49ers. But whatever, I have no clue about him, so Nix is better. Nix is not automatically a shoe in for real NFL duty as a backup.

If Nix has eliminated throws like those in the 2019 UGA and Florida games as well as the way he acted in the USC game in Columbia, he has a chance to hang around the NFL.

Anyone that doesn’t think Bo will sign on with an NFL team

He will get to camp.

He probably will get drafted in round3 or 4.

He probably makes a roster.

Agree that he makes a roster. Not sure he’s a guy that will stick longer than ~2~ years or so tho

And making a roster is an incredible accomplishment athletically.

Taking a snap in a regular season game is elite.

Being a full time starter is amazing.

He’s already done more than most ever will at the position.

Congratulations on a great performance during the PAC12 title race.
