I can’t believe how much people read into this. Because his peers (18-21 year olds) didn’t think think he was one of the two best leaders on the team out of 100+ players he is… a petulant child who some people on this board say they couldn’t look him in the eye and shake his hand if he ever came back to Auburn? Lmao. Or is it because he left Auburn? A decision which has proven to be 100% correct, btw. (And it was after he graduated!)

OK, Bo and Patrick Nix. The best thing ever at Auburn and never part of the problem.

I mean both were good for Auburn. The biggest crime Bo Nix ever committed was that he wasn’t the savior of some very mediocre rosters. But people couldn’t see that.

Yes, it's the rest of the team, not Nix. Deplorables.

The players on one of the worst Auburn teams in recent memory didn't universally like him and didn't vote him captain. Meanwhile, the players on a Top 10 ranked Oregon team seem to love playing with him.

Gee, which one of those two scenarios do you think is more conducive to reality? The players on this Auburn team are undisciplined (see: the million penalties, turnovers, and complete idiocy week after week) so why would I take their opinions as gospel?

I think Nix had 8-10 quality SEC starters around him (combined both sides of the ball) during his last two years at Auburn. It wasn’t any of those guys fault we stunk either. But Bo was the one ALWAYS getting the heat for it. And still is on some corners of the internet.

The team is 3-8 since he got hurt midway through Miss State last year (a game we were winning with him healthy, by the way).

So yes, it is in fact the "rest of the team". The offense has declined as has the defense. Even the kicker sucks LOL.

This team was actually competitive in most games with him at QB. We look comparable to Vandy without him on the field. That isn't to say that he is some savior, but this is a really stupid hill you seem intent to die on.

Yes, deplorable Auburn players could never see what Oregon players see.

Dude for the love of God give it up. Bo covered up multiple issues on offense at AU. He is shining at Oregon and all those people that laughed that Bo wouldn’t sniff the NFL look like fools.

Trying to make personal attacks about him and his family look stupid. Both Bo and Pat poured their heart sweat tears and blood into AU football and both are Auburn grads.

For all the shite the people that understood football thst defended Bo have every right to come on here and say they told you so.

Btw for the record I do think there is nuance to this. Bo had legitimately poor play at times at Auburn. Now I do think a huge reason he developed some bad habits (leaving clean pockets, not seeing guys come open) is because he had zero trust in his OL and it just kept compounding. When you play behind a line like that for almost 2 seasons it’s very easy to start seeing ghosts like that.

But another year later with his confidence back he is showing who he can be.

I’m so glad you have that UGA game to cling to. Must bring great respite during these troubling times.

You’re an idiot that doesn’t have a clue. What QB looks good against UGA?

Bo didn’t throw an INT in the game until it was 21-0. At some point you have to try to make a play. You play to win not to only lose by 20. Oregon is solid but they don’t have UGA talent. Like I said if you don’t like the I told you so from folks this thread may not be for you seems your a little butt hurt

Can you or would you ever say that Bo, himself, did not play well against UGA?

Or are you convicted that it was all UGA?

In the 2021 game, he made a couple of mistakes but all in all played about as well as he could have. He was bad in the 2019 game and for the life of me I don’t remember anything about the 2020 game.

I was just talking about when he played on a good team with Oregon.

But in the last close Auburn game with UGA, he did have a critical melt under pressure when he threw a horrible screen pass on our come back. No big deal, but it did happen. And it was his fault.

Yes, I suck. But come onnnn, you can't just shove that game down the memory hole, as far as having any discussion/analysis about performance.

I don't see Bo Nix going to the next level. I see him in the same general category as Johnny Footba... Manziel. Won't be bothered one bit if he proves me wrong.

I think for his college career, he's getting the most out of his abilities. And that's just fine by me. I don't for a second think he'd elevate AU's team play save for possibly a game, 2 at most. We're 7-5 with him, 7-6 or 8-5 with a lower tier bowl.

Just my 2 cents.
