Mostly agree. There aren’t any real wow guys. Johnson is our best one and he’s out. The thing is with the other guys, if you’re not a burner or an elite jump ball guy then you have to do the little things well… like catch the ball. If not for the three drops so far we are feeling much better about them and the way the game is going.

Was hoping to get lead enough today to get Finley some time with the 1’s so that our backup has more experience but it doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen.

He’s missed a couple, but most QBs do so nothing unusual. He’s definitely improved and it’s pretty obvious he’s finally getting some decent coaching.

He’s never going to be as accurate as someone like Mac Jones but he’s at least giving guys a chance to make a play this year. Take out the three drops today and he’s 10/12 and that’s after going 20/22 (with one being a bad drop too). That’s more than good enough for us to be successful through the air this year.

Yep, he's not overthrowing receivers and is doing a much better job of putting in safer spots.
