Bammer isn’t even close to our level.

Agreed, but their style of play always leaves the door open for a game where they catch fire. That’s what it would take for them to win, that or crush us on the boards.

We are, without question, the best team in the country right now. The worrisome thing is that more than any other sport the best team doesn't usually win. Hopefully we can be the exception. I think we are at the point with this team that, barring injury, it's national championship or bust. Final Four at the minimum.

I agree. I was telling someone today I will be at least somewhat disappointed with anything short of a natty at this point. And that’s an absolutely insane way to watch college basketball because it doesn’t really work like that lol

The potential for this team is national title, so I completely agree. Barring injuries or we just get cold one game, which can happen of course in the tournament, there’s no reason this team shouldn’t be playing for a national title in April, that’s how good this team is.

I mean this is how you win them. Bruce is getting older and doesn't have much time left to build many more of these senior laden teams. I don't want to say it's now or never but it's really hard to imagine we will have a better shot than right now. Obviously I hope it happens for Auburn but also for Bruce personally.

You prob won't have to wait that long, just wait til we drop a midweek road game to a Miss State or Texas.

I mean Bruce obviously deserves a lifetime contract here, that said he's got to make a run with this team or the disappointment will be immense.

For my fellow KenPom lovers, to show just how insane this team is from an analytics standpoint.

We are by far the best offensive team in the country. The gap between Auburn and the #2 offense (Gonzaga) is greater than the gap from Gonzaga to the #19 offense (Pitt).

Overall, the gap from us to #8 bama is the same as the gap from bama to #66 (UC Irvine).

Yea, the metrics for this team, if we continue to get these types of results, is in the conversation for greatest team of all time territory. It’s incomprehensible what we have been doing so far. If it wasn’t for a random bench player for Duke playing like Steph Curry and the refs calling a foul every time we were 10 feet from Flagg, we would be undefeated…

We went a couple of years ago when they played here. Told my wife we'd never do that again. Parking was a joke. Crowds were awful. I generally hate downtown Bham and especially hate anything that the city gov't has anything to do with. Get there early. Police presence should be high with that many over-the-mountain folks down there to spend money, but keep your head on a swivel.

Just want to say that my experience today, and every time I’ve ever been to Legacy, was the exact opposite of this. I can’t recommend it enough

Painter is a good coach and gives a fair presser here.

The thing that has impressed me with this team, unlike other Pearl teams we have had, we don't live and die by the three. We can go inside anytime we want.

The one bothering aspect, we need to get Broome, and especially Cardwell, better at the line. Teams will hack Cardwell every chance they get in a tight game.
