I guess it comes down to expectations, mine were high for him yours seemed to be a mid 15 year journeyman

He is a GOAT for players that shoot three times a game.

There's only so much you can do as an individual. He's not a PG, so he doesn't bring the ball up.. His coach sticks him in the corner all game and his teammates don't pass him the ball. Udoka and the other players who are ball hogs are who should be getting criticized. He's their best shooter and best defender.. they will regret not using him when he's gone.

Disappointment doesn’t equal bust… unless you’re a mouth breather like Randy.

Hate that for him! But yeah he has been incredibly efficient in limited minutes. I don’t trust that franchise at all

I want to see Walker on a team that will give him a fair shake. Rookie season: trade deadline mini-tank. Second season: a team that over performed, then a trade deadline mini-tank. Third season: a full on tank with no chance for consistent playing time, especially down the stretch. He got a lot of rest.

Walker is legit, and should have a long career barring injury. He's good enough as a rim protector and rebounder, and his ability to be money around the rim on offense that his lack of perimeter shooting can be overlooked.

Look i have no desire to sit here and keep pointing out negative aspects of jabaris career.

You say this, but you've gone through the past few pages of this thread wholly and completely ignoring every single positive that was pointed out to you.

There haven't been any, only a quote from draymond and excuses about Houstons coach being mean to him and his teammates not passing him the ball and making him stand in the corner. You guys sound like dads of failing travel ball players when they realize they didn't produce the next Bryce Harper

This is so dumb. Jabari isnt a bust. He isn't even a mediocre basketball player. He has one of the smoothest shots Ive seen and will only get better.

He isnt someone that will be a cornerstone for the team. He is a role player that will help championship teams win championships.

You also need to be more patient and grateful.

I tried following Marquis Daniels career and that was spotty...People in Houston on twitter (the few Houston fans) say that while Jabari didnt play as good in the regular season as he did in the playoffs that he was underutilized. They called his shot consistent when Houston most needed it.

Has a player ever had his stats basically cut in half and gotten the narrative it was somehow a big improvement?

Also even in your glazing you admit he's a role player, that's not what you look for at number 3. Like i said I'll back off bust but really it's all semantics and it's been a disappointing start to his career however you to officially label it

I'm not making arguments about Wilt Chamberlain or Babe Ruth despite not knowing anything about them.

You are.

Did you watch him play a single game last year? Have you watched him play more than 5 games in his NBA career? Just curious, since you're being an expert on his career.
