Im sure google is wrong in a lot of instances, but i mean, Petty isnt too short for the league.
I don't think most of the argument is necessarily too short for the league at all, but more too short for a one and done lottery/first round player (Not speaking to Randy's position specifically, just overall what i've been seeing posted). I think that thought has some merit. I have no doubt he could succeed in the league, just don't know if a team is going to want to draft him high enough just after this year to justify leaving.

I could definitely see wanting a vet CG to complement that guard lineup. Magwood and Pettiford are a little redundant in their skill sets and Bashir is a bucket getter too. You’d want to bring in a Denver like presence to be the guy that helps everything settle in

David Coit, a backup PG from Kansas hit the portal if we want to build depth. 5 PPG and 38% from 3
Will be a super senior.

Yeah, I'd say the argument is more that he is too short to play a #2 in the league, which is true. And that he doesn't have the skill set quite yet to be a first round pick as a point guard.

Petitford has to work on passing if he wants to play in the NBA because he will have to be a scoring PG.
He is more naturally a 2. Like Bruce said from the beginning: a bucket getter.

FYI, he is of Dominican descent. Let's get CBM work his magic on him.

6'1 is not a common height for NBA shooting guards (I can't think of any current starters in the league at SG right off hand that are 6'1 or less). For a PG it's a perfectly height though.
Tahaad is an offensive beast, but he's not an NBA level PG as of yet. He definitely has the skills to get there though. Just needs to improve his defense and passing, and he's gotten much better at both as the season went along.

They know each other. Saw on another board he posted on his IG story a pic of him and CBM, not sure when if it was posted recently or a while back though.

I think this will be the biggest thing for him to win over NBA teams. They know he can get a bucket which they value a ton, but he can’t be a ball stopper PG. The NBA is iso ball heavy because of the spacing but they need to know he can improvise and make something happen outside of just him making a tough bucket.

Abdi Bashir setting up Zooms with Kansas Bama etc. I am assuming he can't reach out to us until we are done with the tournament.

I know it was just one game, but I cannot forget how many shots he missed against us. Did he even score?

He had a really weird season just looking at his game stats. He started off getting good minutes and putting up numbers then he fell off the map and was getting like 5 min a game at the start of conference play and when they were losing every game. Then he started playing again and playing really well. Then seemed to tail off both in minutes and production again at the end.
Either way 7' 2", SEC experience, can shoot from outside. I'll take a flyer on that.

Z may be the softest 7ft+ player I've ever seen.

To our credit, we have been a top 10 defense and have shut down some good players.
