The parents both new that what they were doing was against the rules. Greed got the best of them. I cant imagine all the shady things that go on at UK, Duke, Mich St, UCLA and UNC. Those are the NCAA Sacred Cows in basketball. Just like Bama, ND, Ohio St and UGA in football. They consistently get the best players. All the while chalked up to great coaches, or tradition. When other schools do well recruiting they are held to the fire. The parents just thought that was the way things were done and if everyone else is doing it why not me. You cant tell me Duke didnt offer money to Wileys family.
