The next snap was at 12 seconds. Even with the rollout, that would get back precious time.
Can’t wrap my head around that decision. You wasted enough time for an entire play because of that decision.

I’d like to see more runs as well. I don’t think we believed we would be able to run on them. We have been successful so they should go with that. They have to be careful running one guy too much though. People will be complaining. Haha.
DJ made one good catch but has been ineffective other than that. Just need to play offense being ahead. Not behind. We don’t have to score on every play.

It was not a great decision but a 7 second non timeout didn’t cost us 14 points. Bad play did.

Exactly. It’s clear the kid doesn’t need to be throwing 30+ times a game.
Feed the RB’s the ball. This offense needs to mimick the Brad Lester/Kenny Irons offense.

I don’t think Gus has made any decisions today to cost us the game. If not kicking the extra point bites us in the arse at the end of the game I’ll blame him but so far just costly mistakes on 2 plays has kept USCe in the game.

USC has a scrappy defense as well. Their offense isn’t great, but this is a legit SEC defense.

Why do we do the thing where the O-Line stands still on an offsides? Why not block for Bo so he can have time to load up and try to bait a PI?
