Well it should have been a blindsided block. Not a damn ejection when no flag on the field

At least we should be fired up

The wing officials flat out suck. Stoops can bitch all he wants, that wing couldn't see the ball or the goal line on what the announcers keep calling a missed touchdown on Kentucky. Those wings are missing their spots as the game wears on. When a guy is running for a touchdown, make the damn block chest high and end the helmet crap. But guys following and celebrating? That last possible tackler should have been blown off his feet instead of splitting the escort ...First game miscues ....

He was in front it wasn’t blind side but the review guy sucks. UK scored before the interception.

I believe they called targeting because he initiated head-to-head contact. The way I understand it that will always be a penalty. Might be wrong.

I think KY got screwed out of a TD but I am having fun saying we got screwed because they didn’t place the ball properly. Haha

Defensive line looks sluggish, out-of-shape slow. Individual members of the secondary look decent, but entire defense not rallying to each other.

Thoughts of the first half:

According to the score, 8-7, offense wasnt that great and the defense might not be that bad. After the first two drives I thought we were about to be 2014 all over again. Lol

Offense is pass heavy. Maybe because the Oline is new but we need a running game. It is what we are and it will save the defense.

The defense is learning. Lots of potential and some big plays but we need to step up and stop the run. Lots of potential in the secondary but they are getting out of position and taking bad angles right now.

Most of that can be fixed except the running game. Hopefully they let the other running backs play in the second half.

They really didn't on the first down call, though. After that, dude was without a doubt in the end zone.

Blindside block and targeting....

Just watch Steve Shaw on Ricky Seals Jones destroying Dinson:

It doesnt matter what they are reviewing it for. They can call targeting on the review if they see it. Same as last year and the year before that

Had no idea they had this type of ridiculous authority. Awful terrorist rule.

Just saw the replay again. Hall smashed Wilson to cause the interception and then got up and hustled to knock two players out of the play to spring the TD.

That is a fricking man. Big time effort play.

It is an absolute travesty that he was penalized and ejected for a play like that. I hate targeting, it is all bullshite.

Keep being great, 29!

Does anybody remember the 2017 Iron Bowl when the refs somehow found an Auburn penalty (which was huge at the time) via an irrelevant review? Does that shite happen all the time or just against us?

That was probably the correct call, he lowers his helmet into the defenders chin, and it was behind the ball no less.

But that doesn’t get reviewed for targeting if the review doesn’t bungle the Kentucky TD. That was a total make up call

Correct call by the "letter of the law".

That was an outstanding overall play by Hall. 5 years ago, that play would be drooled over by the analysts. Now though, he gets 15 yards and an ejection.

It is frustrating as hell, I especially feel for Hall.
