Opportunities were there today.

Roughing QB was huge
Alston fumbling was huge.
3rd & 19 was huge.

Can’t expect D to stay out all day long.

We’re in for a long season. We’ve been cursed since losing to FSU….

All of those, you can point to coaching.

I think we all had an idea this was possible when Thorne started in the first place. No one on this roster should be playing QB next year. Freeze failed by not trying to get someone else.

Hank is not the answer. Thorne isn’t either but I think if we don’t get so many plays behind in the first half we have a chance to run the ball more in the second half.

Gonna be a long season if we don’t get better in all phases. We make some dumbass plays as players.

Coaches have to come up with a better plan. We can run the ball. Punting is better than turnovers.

Cam Coleman needs his starting spot taken from him. Start Brown let Coleman be the backup. He’s made multiple mistakes all year

Firing Gus with no plan was insane. I’m fine watching a couple rough seasons to finally get some stability, but a lot of people on this board seem to just want to spiral this program into obscurity by firing the coach every other year

I’ve not once said fire Hugh. Just that he is awful. Fire him now and it’s catastrophic. We just have to live through it. Gonna suck.

And that has nothing to do with the dumb statements you made.

We hired a guy years removed from a couple of flash in the pan seasons he cheated to get the talent for. Our logic was he could recruit enough talent to make up the difference fast, but the problem is, Freeze isn't a good coach. He was one of the scheme spread guys that blew up as the speed of the league and rules adjusted to a new game. That adjustment has long been made. The spread teams are hardly a factor anymore. We have a coach who has avoided taking any responsibility for anything outside of recruiting. Now let's see if he can hold that recruiting together when the future isn't manifesting AT ALL on the field. We have a staff full of green newcomers and street agents and we look undisciplined, soft and have zero identity.

We made a bad gamble. We'll ride it out, but what happens on the field matters. This idea we're just going to stockpile high school talent while piling up losing seasons is ludicrous. You think Coleman isn't going to be hearing from every program that DOES have something to show on the field this off season? How much will he alone cost to keep on the roster? It will add up and we don't have a QB... which also falls on Hugh.

We should have paid $1 more than The U for Cam Ward. This day and age, we might see some of our WR hit the portal next year.

Or even Diego that is looking good at Vandy…. VANDY!

Similar to Gus, watching Hugh’s offense and coaching, I am seeing why we haven’t been able to get a decent portal QB and still don’t have a big HS QB for next year.

if we were losing but look competative, i could take a losing season. But we are losing and look bad while doing it which makes me irrational and want to fire freeze now.

Seeing as how my comment was referencing the fans and boosters who advocate firing coaches every other year, it literally does.

It’s one thing to not understand the reference or disagree, but you went straight to a personal insult. Reflects poorly on you

No one wants him fired right now, but this team is not well coached at all.

Not fired, agree. But It is certainly time to begin questioning whether this will make it past year four.

I’m sure Freeze loves the Auburn family, just doesn’t seem to want to fully coach.

You said it was fans not coaches fault. I am at home today and have not been coaching this team. Even if I wanted Gus and Harsin fired, that has nothing to do with Hugh’s coaching.

You also said turnovers wasn’t due to coaching.

95% of coaching happens not on game days.

Could it just be a freak thing with the turnovers? Maybe, but is this a new thing?

Good Lord why is firing any coaches even a thought process at this point. Regiof what happens we need to give Freeze and company 4 years. Period.

Coaching turnover is a huge issue for us. Who wouldn’t take that “solid” 6-4 all conference game season of 2020 after the past 3 seasons and into this one

I was callling for Hugh to get someone and not count on Throne last year. Then again in the offseason. Then at the beginning of the year.

Him not going hard after a QB in the portal was his biggest mistake of all the mistakes he has made so far
