My parents go to Waffle House on Christmas Day for supper every year.

Our families come to our house on Christmas day around lunch. My father in law ALWAYS stops by Waffle House on the way up and fills up. Pisses my wife off to no end. There has been some major knock down drag outs over that. She cooks all day on Christmas day and he won't eat because he is full of waffle house.

We always do a Gulf Christmas meal. Raw oysters, fried oysters, smoked oysters, bay shrimp both fried and boiled, fried grouper. Just shhhtuff like that.

Yeah, grouper and snapper are the best Gulf fish, IMO. I just wish we could get some fresh this time of year.

Damn skippy. I caught a few of those out of Destin on a charter boat excursion. Caught some Cobia as well.

I do enjoy a good trigger sammich. Grouper and trigger is the only fish I will make a sammich out of. Speckled trout is a great eat also, IMO, but that must be eaten fresh.
