Yay or nay?

Assuming he survives this season.

Didn’t he study Gus’ offense and adopt it?

If so, why would we bring in another yes man?

Is he, though?

We’re talking about this guy being an OC at Auburn, not a HC.

Wouldn’t we agree that Auburn’s offensive skill talent is more comparable to what he had at Clemson vs what he had at Arkansas?

I’m just asking, FWIW. He had success at Clemson but I think we’ve established Gus will always coach the Auburn offense and not completely hand the torch to another guy.

I don't want anything that resembles a Gus offense.

It is a version, but with better passing concepts.

Ok, so does Gus meddle in Morris’ offense?

I would have to assume so.

I just feel like we have a lot of short terms memories.

Would we same the same about hiring Kevin Steele following him being fired from Baylor?

Same scenario...failure as a HC, but success as a coordinator.

This board loved Chad Morris prior to him being a HC at Arkansas. And I get it, he was a horrible HC. Just awful.

Definitely.

What did Clemson do after Morris left?... got better.

What did SMU do after Morris left?.... got better.

What did Arkansas do after hiring Morris?... somehow got worse.

It’s a no brainer... dudes not very good.

How long is it going to take for Auburn fans to realize that no OC that’s Gus has will make a difference in the offense that he runs. The OC is always going to held back. Chad Morris wouldn’t make a difference, and neither would Brady.

An OC is an yes man or an excuse for Gus to continue his offensive ineptness.

Might as well bring back Rhett laslee
