check his bio ur self and see what he’s done. Actually made good hires and their program won a Natty for the 1st time ever. Overall programs in good place

Technically, people are bitching because people at his current program are saying it would be a good hire getting him away from their program.
It really would be a similar situation to Harsin. BSU fans: thank god please take him away. Us: he has a great reputation and track record of winning games.

The way this has seemingly come out of left field makes me wonder if it's not some kind of HC package deal. And, no, I don't mean Leach.

No telling but all of our hires lately have been out of left field. Even Alan Greene was never mentioned before his hire. It is a weird trend.

im sure he won't be making the hire BUT would the MSU AD make a recommendation of an Ole Miss coach?

Th3 fact that Stanley was involved in the process is very interesting.
Again, cause a MSU fan said take him it’s a horrible hire. So funny. Why would they give him a raise if he sucks?

One thing I do like about Cohen is he is a former (baseball) head coach. Doesn't seem that common nowadays.
He also has MSU's baseball program rolling, which isn't surprising since he's a baseball guy.
Other than that I know nothing of him.

The Auburn fans who continually called for a functional "process" to be taken for once should be happy. This needs to be pointed out.
The "PTB" left Roberts alone and told him to make the hire himself. That's what he did. Cohen is not anybody's boy, nor was he pushed onto Roberts.
Roberts is going to let Cohen make the football hire. Again, this is what people were calling for. Again, this is going to operate from the linear perspective: Roberts picks the AD, the AD finds the HC.
Now we wait and see what happens. I don't think anyone has any idea what ideas Cohen would have with regards to a football coach.
