Yeah I'll take a 3rd place finish with that field. Great experience for the team, and great exposure for the program.

I fell asleep waiting for tip-off, but woke up and watched the last few minutes of the first half and all of the second half.

Chuma is our best player.

Brown and Harper are really good, but size is an issue.
Doughty is not playing as well as he did earlier.

Dunbar had his best game last night.

Wiley is coming around.big upside.

Got a lot of minutes out of mcccormick, but he’s not a scoring threat.
Anfernnee McLemore looks healthy.
Spencer is out effort man. He contributes best when he does not shoot threes.

We are a 25+ win team.
3 seed

Biggest challenge may be dealing with size at the rim.

I’m curious to see how quickly Purifoy is able to turn it on when he comes back. He’s a huge puzzle piece.

Why the downvote?

It was a realistic positive post

I love the respect that Pearl generates for this team. Not saying they don't deserve it regardless, but when the general consensus from ESPN and Maui is that Auburn is legit, I'm not sure we gain that credibility as quickly without CBP being the guy building this team.

Getting the benefit of the doubt like that will be huge for us to change our basketball reputation and trajectory. And I have to assume it pays big dividends in recruiting.

Did Mclemore ever come back in? It looked like he tweaked an ankle going for a steal. Hopefully it wasn't the same ankle he dislocated last year if that is what he was getting checked.

ETA: just saw an interview with Pearl and he said it was a successful trip and mentioned no injuries as being one of the positives so I guess that answers my question.

McLemore didn't return but i don't think it was because he couldn't.. i thought it was a tweak at first too but like GC said, it appeared to be a laceration of some sort. I was very concerned at first too, especially when I saw Coach Pearl literally stop the game to take him out.
