Cam did very well that critical drive.

I legit thought his career was done. All of this is just gravy.

And then there is this:

Cam Newton now has 64 rushing yards, the most by any Patriots quarterback in a single game in franchise history.

A new look in New England.

Leading single game rusher at QB for two different franchises

Yeah Cam got little too emotional. Needs to reel some of that in. Let a rookie soon to be released take a cheap shot and pay the fine. That’s the gentleman’s way.

Man I'm so happy for him. Didn't see a successful pro career in his future when he left early. So glad I got that one wrong.

What got Cam upset the last play of the game? I watched but still couldn't figure out what set him off. He acted like he was grabbing his hamstring, like someone caused him to tweak it.

He looked good, but you could tell a couple of things:

1. His throws were pretty good, but they didn't let him rip it. I don't recall any bombs from Cam.

3. Although NE is smart in using Cam's talents w the Cam runs, etc. I worry that he we go again with wearing Cam out at an older age. 15 carries for a QB is going to do that with another 15 games left.

I hope the pounding doesn't cause a problem. I hope NE uses his other weapons more and Cam to pass more than run.

I saw in the Detroit game, that KJ is going to be used sparingly with Peterson carrying the workload and Swift, being a 1st round pick getting more reps too.

Although, Swift cost Detroit a come from behind win, when he dropped an easy pass in the endzone with seconds left in the game.

Yeah, I’ll be dropping Kerryon in fantasy. That workload is disappointing.

Jamel loafed on a play and got scorched by Cooks, though.

Davis played ok. He made a few good plays and a few mistakes. Jamal Dean was lazy.

Wilkins (DT who played at Clemson a few years back) ripped Cam’s chain off after the game. That’s why he got so pissed.

Lions might be the only franchise that would start a veteran RB they picked up 6 days ago over recent 1st and 2nd round draft picks

I doubt Kerryon is long for Detroit

"I mean, yeah, we don't win much. But have you seen Stafford's stats?"

Made me laugh that someone touched Cam's facemask and he they got a 15 yd roughing the passer penalty. Got to love the QB protection that the Pats offer. Cam couldn't buy a roughing the passer penalty at Carolina.

I could not believe he dropped that pass.
