Detroit drafted Deandre Swift.

Reminds me of the Rams taking Gurley after Mason’s first year.

He seems to be a very positive, down to earth guy on Twitter. I’m sure he’s hopeful to avoid more long injury spells though.

I can’t believe Noah got drafted first round as a DB. Wasn’t he a RB / WR like two years ago? AmaZing

hope Marlon has a long successful career with the Falcons

I've been meaning to get a jersey, I finally have a player I can feel 100% confident buying

NFL is a dog eat dog world and our dog can't stay healthy.

Might be a blessing, splitting the load with Swift may help keep him healthy.

Breather? He’s been hurt the last 2 years.
And he’s only had about 115 carries in a year his first 2 years.

I think they got swift bc KJ can’t stay healthy and Swift is a 3 down back too.

I hate it for KJ so hopefully they can share the load. But he’s got to stay healthy or he’ll be gone. After is rookie contract is up.

Davidson was SEC def player of the week four times I think, I guess if he wasnt voted the best player in the entire conference for a week "he disappeared"???

Those 4 weeks where he did really well were against Arkansas, Samford, Tulane, and Kent State.

He went to the Senior Bowl and was absolutely demolishing guys before he hurt his ankle and had to sit out the rest of the week. He played his whole career out of position at Auburn - he should have been bulked up to 300+ earlier and moved inside where he would have lit it up playing beside Derrick Brown, just like he did when he showed up to the Senior Bowl at that weight. Instead we had him trying to play DE at 280-290 pounds where he was pretty good, but clearly out of position.

We seem to have this problem a lot under Garner. What the hell was Nick Coe doing playing at anywhere near 280-290 pounds? He should have been a 265 pound edge rusher. And then we have a guy like Davidson who should have been a pure DT trying to play DE at 290 pounds for half the time he was here. Its like opposite bizzaro world.

Davidson at DE is just an okay athlete and a tweener. At DT; he is a potential first rounder.

Yeah. Brown got all of the hype, which he earned, but Marlon did a damn fine job for us. I think he should have gone a little higher and I hope he has a HOF career.

I totally agree. Compensating for lack of explosion at DE? Garner likes to have big bodies on the DL but I wonder if he was wanting a similar makeup as the rhino package that he tried to use years ago. Or is he doing out it necessity because TD and Big Kat hasn’t caught on yet.
