Gary Walker JR to also become a grad assistant coach for Gus Malzahn. He was the former walk on that appeared in many games.

He becomes the 3rd assistant that formerly played for CGM: Holsey and Andrew Williams( Asst Strength Coach) are the others.

I was thinking it was that Andrew Williams as well, but it turns out there is another one.

Apparently we had an Andrew Williams that played RB for us in 2013 and 2014. Anyway, he is taking a full time role as assistant strength coach. He’s already fully certified and has already served as the strength coach at smaller schools like South Carolina State and Western Kentucky.

Does anybody have access to premium PFF information?

They have a curious article on Derrick Brown

Tom Brady announces he will not be returning to the Pats.

Something tells me it’s not Stidham time. Time will tell.

The 49ers signed Shon Coleman to a one year extension.

PFF is really down on Browns athleticism. He had a really bad showing at the combine

An old article I read from them basically says he doesn't have the athleticism or history of elite pass rush production as an IDL. No pass rush means he isn't top pick worthy

I myself am a bit bearish on how Brown will do in the league.

I still think Stidham can be a decent NFL QB. Patriots insiders are all extremely high on him but then again who knows. He looked really solid in the preseason.

Brown I do worry about his athleticism as well. I think he is one of the safest players in the draft and is a sure fire good player, but I’m not sure he will ever become a superstar due to his athletic limitation

I think Stidham will have a long, solid 8-10 year career as a backup. Nothing to be ashamed of there.

Stidham may turn out to be like AJ McCarron has defined his career. Good solid backup with solid relief, when called upon. I still think he has a chance to see if he can be a starting QB in the NFL but not in his 2nd year.

No way Pats stay with a 2nd year QB to run their offense. I bet they go hard after Bridgewater possibly.

NE still has some weak skill players(WRs) that showed even under Brady last year.

I would love for Stidham to be the guy in NE, but that seems unlikely with Bridgewater, Winston, Dalton, Rivers, maybe Carr available.

The Tom Brady/Patriot era would end during this weird worldwide shutdown. It's like we are living in a movie...

I think NE is gonna ride with Stidham and see if he sucks or not. I just don't see the point in signing a mediocre QB that is just gonna get you to 9-7. Might as well see what you have. If Stidham sucks, grab Lawrence or Fields in 21.

Mediocre can get you 11 wins in NE. Ever heard of Matt Cassel?

Last year the Pats had a huge problem on offense because they were vertically challenged in the passing game.

A lot of it was they didn’t have a very explosive receiver group. The other part was Brady had a non explosive arm.

If Stidham had all day to throw and another Darius Slayton, he’d win 11 games there easy.

Cam Newton news:

Panthers basically doing an about face on their previous comments of wanting Cam to still be QB. They are going after Teddy Bridgewater pretty hard and allowing Cam to seek a trade.
