Keef Kneebur @Keef247Spots Tee Martin interest in coaching in the SEC has risen. Word is he will be interviewed for Auburn's OC position on Thursday. #TeeitUp!
Ummm.. But he has only been a OC for 1 or 2 years. Does this mean they are falling back on their requirements because they are not able to get more experienced passing strong OCs?

He's trolling. Tee Martin is going to be one of the hottest HC candidates in the country in a year or two. I'd take him right now.
Or maybe he's right and Tee sees Auburn as a HCIW situation

And this....
Tee Martin
Why USC Should Hire Him:
Martin has recruited and developed top tier talent for USC across the board but especially at receiver. Marqise Lee, Nelson Agholor and JuJu Smith-Schuster have flourished under his tutelage. As one of the top recruiters in the nation, Martin is a hot commodity and keeping him on staff by way of a promotion could be worth the growing pains of a first time coordinator.
Why USC Should Not Hire Him:
Of course, that’s the rub. Martin has no experience as an offensive coordinator or as a play-caller. With other experienced options available, hiring Martin would show a worrying lack of ambition from Helton.

Why would an established head coach ever do this for the coordinator hire on the side of the ball where they've made their name?
Because he's realized he's lost it and he's trying to save his job. It's what we've all collectively been calling for all year so don't question it now that it's happening.

You can all wish for someone to take over the offense and push Gus aside all you want, but you will be sitting here next year either searching for an OC or a HC if it is not something that Gus can get behind. I am thinking it needs to be someone Gus feels will challenge him but work with him.

Marcello says Clemson Co-OC Jeff Scott's name has popped up from an "industry source"
Would be surprised if we went with him as he doesn't meet any of the criteria they keep harping on

According to my co-host @Lauren_Rew, a source tells her that #OKState OC Mike Yurcich is interviewing at Auburn.

So would Scott have enough experience to make the puppetmasters happy? Even though he has been head of recruiting, he was the co-OC.

Most of the time, I feel like these "coaching searches" end with hiring someone that no one has even mentioned

Also the WR coach...could hire a QB coach and Scott can oversee whole offense and help Kodi

It's definitely been that way under Gus (Kevin Steele & Greg Brown). Marcello has already said don't be shocked if a name you haven't heard gets randomly announced
As for Scott he's an elite recruiter but no idea what he brings from a schematic perspective. Don't think he's the playcaller but I could be wrong. Clemson has a weird setup for OC with 2 guys and one being in charge of passing & other rushing. I think Scott is their passing coordinator so makes sense from that standpoint but doesn't really meet any of the other criteria

That was my thought on Scott as he is the WR coach/OC so maybe it is something that works with Gus instead of a total takeover and ensuing battle of wills. I do like his recruiting pedigree.
