Sounds like Davis can’t handle the workload, I think Harsin is going to fail but keeping someone not fully bought in isn’t fair to him.

I agree with all the “smoke and fire” shite from you and Poker. One head scratcher is no big deal. 2 is probably nothing. But he had a season full of head scratchers. I can’t melt on it any more. Go look at the last few pages of transfer QB page. I’m all melted out.

Shortly after he took the Boise job only 2 or 3 on the field coaches returned with him the following year. That’s Harsin. We just have to deal with Harsin’s shite.

It’s undoubtedly a pattern now.

I’ve been one of the more cautious people here on painting this hire and tenure with a broad brush but Harsin is making it difficult not to be critical at this point. I’m at the lowest point of optimism about football that I can remember and I’m naturally optimistic

Jones this isn’t going to be corrected anytime soon .... earliest 12/22.... I was initially optimistic, then the original OC/DC hires concerned me, then the initial recruiting, then the head scratcher L’s then recruiting really tanked and now here we are...

We finished better than everyone thought, calm down people and stop being so negative.

It’s tough because it’s on Harsin for getting a guy who’s not fully committed, but at the same time if Davis said he was fully committed I’m not sure what else Harsin could really do. I mean Pete Carroll praised us hiring him so it seems like it was fairly concrete at that point.

Negativity is warranted. Doing better than worst case scenario isn’t necessarily good.

On recruiting — I’ve always been willing to see out the 2023 class. They’ve made ground there and got most, if not all, the top guys on campus last fall. But most of the top ‘23 guys in our area went to Clemson and UGA last weekend and Bama the week before. That’s a really bad start for us and gives us a peak at the early priorities of these kids.

I’m patient and can find silver linings in anything. I’m just surprised to see it run so thin this early on

This is where I’m at rn.

I gave 3down10 over on tRant a lot of clapback for shitting on the Harsin hire but it’s starting to look like he undersold his criticism.

This is looking less like a culture change and more like a meltdown.

Reality and truth typically lives in the nuance. It’s likely both. Not that what we had before was particularly impressive but this doesn’t feel better so far

Honestly y’all can’t own Twitter. You must not see the crazy amount of recruits that just visited all OFFENSE. Just give it time. We all knew he was gonna need max 3 years. Don’t believe me then go on Twitter and see for yourself and look at the man recruiting everywhere. A lot of 2023 action happening as well.

we have an official shite show on our hands. I was a huge advocate for the "great hire" club when it was made. It has only taken one year to figure out I was dead wrong.

Jones, that is not good news concerning this padt weekend. Would that be due to our on-field coaches or our recruit staffing?

Reality in truth…

Is it better or just different with a lot of issues resulting from a culture change…

Harsin can change the culture but somewhere along his plan he has to create successes for his staff and the players that have to feel good about it.
