People just love to bitch… I don’t get it.
Venerables is a defensive coach… he’s gonna give Lebby a chance to do run the O with little to no input from the HC (unlike ole miss and AU)… plus the offensive talent there is better.
That’s an easy decision.

No. Apparently Harsin is having to jump through hoops to see if this guy is going to get NCAA sanctions against him, while there are plenty of OCs out there better that don’t have the NCAA shadow over them.

I have no idea.......and neither do you. I guarantee you know very little about Hill. Be honest, how much of ASU have you watched the last few years?
ETA I saw him at Boise St.. I had no idea who their OC was, but their O was fun to watch.

I’ve watched enough to know his offense will be no better than Bobo’s, or his recruiting for that matter.
But answer the question. Do you think Hill is worth having to wait on the NCAA? Early signing day is right around the corner. What if he doesn’t get cleared, and Harsin has to start all over? You think that’s going to help land those recruits that are 50/50 right now?

From what recruits are saying, it doesn't sound like it's a problem. Some have been quoted as saying that the scheme isn't going to change because Harsin's in charge. The position coaches--the ones hired to recruit the most--are locking down their guys. Kiesau seems to be filling the role of the OC on some of the offensive recruiting visits as well.

I’m not sure that many, if any, of our recruits hinge on the OC.
It’s weird to say. But a lot of the offense recruits we’re trying to land just had head coaches at their finalists leave. They’re not too worried about the OC

Then we are screwed, IMO. Harsin wants his O run a certain way. Hill knows exactly how Harsin wants his O run. With any other OC, it could be another Bobo.
