Frank Ponce (Appalachian State OC)
A hire looks to be expected pretty soon. Color me surprised to see McGee there, but that would be your "training wheels recruiter hire" - no idea how they'd make that work.

Just give Dell McGee a chance worst case he brings in alot of talent but he's horrible play caller and Harsin takes over play calling

If you look at 247's list of possibles, he is at the top and has the biggest write-up. To me, it seems like they think he's the guy.

We’re told that Auburn is in the process of vetting Zak Hill from Arizona State.
That doesn’t mean he’s been offered the job, but it does mean Auburn is intrigued enough to make sure he’s offer-able.
Keep in mind that ASU football currently is under investigation for potential violations related to recruiting.

He does make the most sense for a Harsin hire.
