Zak Hill was in Hoover yesterday to visit their QB, Bennett Meredith.
Hill is the Arizona State OC whom we consider a major target for the OC job at Auburn.
Did Hill venture down to AU to meet with the staff? We’re looking into that now.

During the abbreviated 2020 season, ASU’s offense was among the top 20 teams in the nation in yards per completion (fifth), rushing yards per game (seventh), scoring offense (12th), total offense (20th) and third down conversion percentage (20th). Individually, running back Rachaad White led the nation in yards per carry and was 14th in all-purpose yards; quarterback Jayden Daniels was 14th in yards per completion and running back Chip Trayanum was 14th in yards per carry. White led the Pac-12 in scoring while Daniels was second in the conference in pass efficiency.
Football Focus graded Hill’s offense in the Top-40 each season and 31st or better in three of those. In 2017 and 2018, PFF scored the Boise State passing game in the Top-15 nationally while the receivers earned a Top-25 score in each of his four seasons.

I'm not liking the Boise Boys club we got going on. I wouldn't like to see us get Zak Hill on that alone.

Yeah, I honestly don't care where the next OC one's from as long as he calls plays that puts points on the board when he gets here.
Mason and the defense can catch all the heat but the long stretches that the offense completely disappeared was a much bigger issue. That has to stop.

Let’s also not forget that Hill had a worse offense than Bobo, and he did that in the PAC12. I hope JGT is just grasping at straws here.

Don’t know much about their offense but apparently it was very turnover prone this year. I also don’t about the roster.
I’m not gonna sit here and make pretend that I’m sad to see Bobo gone also.

Hard to say anything about any OC from the West half of the country with the lackluster talent they are getting. Especially ASUw

Our Wide Receivers got a lot better under a Boise boy
Not concerned coaching wise with a Boise Boy gang. Would be a little concerned about recruiting though
