It was announced Thursday that Auburn will play in the inaugural Under Armour “Reunion” on Dec. 12 in New York City. Auburn will square off against Boston College, Pearl’s alma mater, in Madison Square Garden.

In the event’s other matchup, South Carolina will take on Seton Hall.

Under Armour making moves. Maybe going forward UA won't be a liability

They have been making a ton of moves since 2010.

They were preparing to make moves in basketball I'd say.

Signing Steph Curry probably was the best thing for Under Armour BBall and schools under its brand like Auburn

If we can finally piece it together, we could have a perfect storm. Just as UA wants to expand their bball presence, we get an outgoing spokesman quality coach in Bruce Pearl.

We just need to start doing something meaningful

BC went 0-18 in the ACC this year. If we lose to them in year 3 of Pearl, something is terribly wrong

I love that we're putting the Auburn image out there around the country...not just limiting ourselves to the South. I wanna see us play in NYC, LA, Minneapolis...all the major hubs in the country. Great job Bruce!

I mentioned Minneapolis because I wanted to name a big city that you'd never expect us to play in. Minneapolis' airport is a hub for Delta, and there are major corporations headquartered there too...Target, 3M, etc...

We went to Missouri and got blown out this year with Canty still around.

AU basketball isn't in a place where any win can be assumed.
