I’m struggling to stay calm. 4 years into our ascent and I’m not even almost used to it.

If every team wasn't gunning for us enough already, they will be extra motivated now.
Bring it...

I wouldn't hate them giving BP a lifetime contract, but I know UK folks are a little antsy with theirs right now.

AM I TAKING CRAZY PILLS? And don't get me wrong we have some really good high-end players, but Pearl's ability to find productive tweeners and small guards is unbelievable. He's a perfect fit for a non-traditional blueblood and I'm glad its at AU.

Thinkin the atmosphere will be a lot less intimidating now, Bama basketball fans are football fans first. It will be hard to shake off the effects of tonight in less than 24 hours.

And after watching what they did against Missouri, they've been mentally preparing themselves for the worst. I'm not sure what to think. Obviously my intuition has been that we lose even before the season started, but Bama was tired Saturday too, played 7 guys, and they have to run zone no matter what against us just like our last 3 opponents. We should be used to it by now, and it's going to be our 11/12 against their 8 again. They sat their 7' center because he's too slow for man, so I hope we're ready for zone right off the bat. Funny thing is they probably intended to practice zone against Missouri, but got kicked in the balls with hot shooting. Our bench could win this game by themselves if they show up. Cardwell...

They’ll be out for blood tonight. It doesn’t matter what happened against Mizzou. They’re going to shoot 40% from 3 and give us all we can handle.

The game in AU will likely be a different story.

That's the way it's been, and that's how we have mentally prepare. Always funny seeing them attempt to flex after winning at home. Lebo and Barbee routinely blew the doors off them at home in this series, and so did doormat Cliff Ellis teams. I hope they shoot well though. Opponents have been missing a lot of wide open shots, and we need to keep getting better.
