I care because league perception matters for the next time Auburn is on the bubble.

I think people understand anything can happen in the tourney. In a pretty evenly matched b12 challenge the SEC won either 6-4 or 7-3 I can’t remember. B12 is the best league. The conference showed its strength during the year and will in years going forward. I don’t really want any of these other SEC schools seeing tourney success

I’m still amazed people believe a Elite 8 is a better accomplishment than a regular season title. This tournament is a ton of chance and isn’t completely about skill.
UNC beat Baylor but I’m supposed to forget what Baylor did all season and over value a single win.

An Elite 8? Probably comparable to conf title and largely depends on program reg vs NCAAT success which one you want
Keep in mind Auburn went 6-4 vs next top 7 SEC teams. I just don't get all hyped up because we went 9-0 vs shite teams in our conference
