The safety squeeze was the play of the game and big Balls Butch great call

He managed the game about as well as one could. No pitchers left in to long or pulled to quickly. Squeeze play call (probably Tommy's call) and kept the team grounded.

LaRue on what it’s like making it to the CWS. “Its like having to take a really big poo, and finally getting to go”

OSU was 0-10 with runners in scoring position today. Huge.

he said I’m sorry if this isn’t appropriate for radio but it’s the only way I know to describe it. I think anyone who played sports and made it to a championship game can relate. I thought it was perfect

Butch and Tim Hudson were flawless with their pitching management all series and it was quite amazing to watch.

What a fantastic Super Regional.

been watching and listening to a good bit of CWS previews. Theres a lot of glad to see you hear Auburn but you have no chance to win it.

There’s a good chance that they’re right. But that’s why the games are played.

And those players performed at the top of their game at the most crucial moments in that last game.

That’s why when I saw that tweet by one of our beat writers on Burky about in his last 3 outings he’s given up runs I blew it. Why was he bringing in a negative stat? There’s a time to share that but not now. G

That’s why I was pumped when Burky performed at his best w those last 8 batters.

We had a 1 in 64 chance 2 weeks ago. 1 in 16 chance 1 week ago. Now we are at 1 in 8 chance. We just faced one of the top pitching staffs in the country and out pitched them outside of the first inning of game 1. We came in the super as the offensive team and played better defense then the Beavers.

We belong and we have as good a shot as anyone on our side of the bracket. Win the first 2 games which will be difficult and your chances skyrocket to make it to the championships. Get there and anything can happen over 3 games.

I like that AU can win in multiple ways as well. AU mashed in the regional, and then out pitched one of the best pitching staffs in the country in the Super. If the starters can consistently give us five innings, watch out. Trace has had a few rough outings in a row so odds are he'll revert to the mean and start pitching better. That is my hope. Gonzalez is Gonzalez and Burnett is pitching better than ever. Just get to the bullpen and our bats should be able to get us 5+ in most outings.

Gameday in Omaha! I’m sure Ole miss will have a decent crowd up there. Hope we have a good showing as well. Go get em boys!

Decent crowd, have you checked out the Jell-O shot board on Twitter? They are ready. Arky is drinking like they been there before.

Poor showing from AU. But outside of Stanford, we’re probably the farthest team from home.

Maybe they’re just smarter than paying 4.50 for a Jell-O shot. What a rip off

Lower seeded “Away” teams are 3-0 so far… hoping we break that tonight.
