know you were only two points off and so were the three who predicted 31-13 but you went over by one point on each team.

Yall dumbasses it’s not who gets closest to the total of over under it’s who gets closest to each teams score.

And going over on a score has never been a deciding factor.

Like I said give it to whoever but at least go by the rules. Of predicting game scores. You chose each teams score and whoever is closest to each team score is the winner. Corch and LBR are 2 points off the game score. However you want to count it. The 31-13 scores are also off 2 points. So they tie as well. Everyone predicted similar scores this week.

Like I said give it to whomever yall want but don’t be assholes cause someone is dominating the prediction threads.

There's never been any established rules for the prediction thread other than make your predictions, at least not that I'm aware of.

Maybe there should be some though

Maybe the rules should be as follows:

1. Make your predictions and put the team name next to it. Score only predictions won't be counted, you need to put a team next to it

2. Get the closest without going over on either team.

What y'all think

Just leave it as it’s always been. Predict the score whoever is closest to each team score is the winner. If there are ties there are ties.

So a game is played and someone predicts a crazy score like 45-10. All others predict 24-13ish type scores and Auburn wins 40-13 the person closest should lose because they predicted over? That would be dumb

In your example everyone went over some way or another, so the 45-10 score would've been the winner. But point taken I'm still sticking with the put a team on your score if you want it counted.

On the closest without going over, that'd be a tie breaker of sorts. So like today if multiple posters were off by 2 pts or whatever the tie breaker would be the closest without going over.

There will be sometimes where there's still a tie because multiple posters made the exact same prediction so I don't think there's anything I can do about that, but that'll be the tie breaker where possible

Sounds good going forward. Post the limited rules at the topic of the OP prediction threads

I originally chose nino as the winner cause they predicted 31-14 but CorchJay doesn't think they qualify since they made two of them. So if not nino then it's a tie between Jeepbrew, slacker 130, and spot check billy who predicted 31-13 which is only two points off the score without going over ( CorchJay went over predicting 16)
My “second prediction” was tongue and cheek…I didn’t put a winning team. But I’ll concede the win to jeep, slacker & SCB.

Just glad we got the series back

‘82, maybe to get all this sorted out?…you and Corch go “double or nothing”…or what the Hell?…

…Why not go “Quadruple or Nothing” in a winner take all prediction just between the two of you for the Arky game?

I’d say go ahead and bet the whole damn Farm on it.

Why do you keep referring to Nino as “They”. Did he post a preferred pronoun?

I was wondering this as well, but in this ultra PC world we live in now I don't question any of that nonsense

I call anyone "they" if I don't know if they're male or female ( we have posters that are female I'm pretty sure) now I know nino is a guy I'll start saying him
