Marcello also said he heard Brahms might get some work at back up LT. If Hamm plays it will at RT with Driscoll moving to the left... our OL is such a mess lol. As long as Tega plays I think we will still beat A&M though.

I want no part of Brahms at Tackle.

Hamm seems fine. I’d rather Osborne than either of those but it should be a moot point

I agree, but thats what BM said. Now he also reported Derick Hall needed to gain weight to see the field this year and we saw him week 1 so who knows how accurate his report is.

Gotta get Mond rattled

Not exactly super difficult to do His body language is always shite, too.

unless our QB or theirs has some turnovers.

Mond is good for AT LEAST one turnover per game. Blee dat. Happened every game so far this year.

We need our passing game to finally break through against A&M. Much like last year’s game I doubt we are going to win by running the ball.

Last year in the second half we were completing chunk play crossing routes. Want more of that.

Tulane absolutely annihilated Missouri State on Saturday. That win is going to look like an actual quality win by the end of the season I bet.

They play Houston on Thursday so maybe we'll get some more info then.

I would be surprised if either team scores more than 25 points on Saturday

Mark Murphy had a few interesting tidbits and one very interesting one.
quote:

Auburn’s offense ranks second in the league in third down conversions at 51 percent

yet
quote:

The Aggies have been the toughest team in the league to convert third downs against. The Texas A&M?defense is allowing a 25 percent conversion rate.

Auburn’s defensive third down conversion rate is a respectable 31% as well.

quote:

*The Tigers gained 200 of their 633 total yards vs. Kent State in the third quarter. That is the most for the Tigers in a third period since gaining 228 last season at Ole Miss. *The 633 yards in game three are the 10th most by an Auburn team and the 21st time in program history to reach 600 in a game. It was the 10th time since 2013 when Gus Malzahn took over as head coach. Auburn finished with the most yards in a game since the 2016 season when the Tigers gained 688 vs. ULM. (The Auburn record is 712 vs. Western Carolina in 2013.)

quote:

*Boobee Whitlow’s average of 113.7 rushing yards per game is No. 2 in the SEC behind Mississippi State junior Kylin Hill’s 143.7. The Auburn defense will be facing a freshman running back this week, Isaiah Spiller, who is 10th in the league in rushing at 82 yards per contest. An Under Armour All-American last year, Spiller is averaging 8.8 yards per carry and has won praise from Coach Jimbo Fisher for how he is playing.

And for the interesting one:
quote:

The Tigers have the nation’s longest streak of consecutive made PAT kicks at 287, which is the SEC record and 15 shy of FSU’s NCAA record.

We are actually running the ball pretty well this year outside of the first half of the Tulane game.

3 non conference games and the best one was against a pac 12 defense. It’s a little early to read anything into stats.

That was the game that made me think JJ would make a great QB one day

That would be an awesome record for Auburn and the Carlson’s.

It doesn’t seem that his injury was that serious. He probably could have started against Kent state if we needed him.

A reader that claims to have talked to Tega posted something on 247 that backs your opinion up fwiw.

Texas A&M isn’t a very different team than us. So far their defense has been solid and Mond is very erratic. One good play followed by a bad one. He has turnover in every game this year. And A&M has struggled in the red zone too. Had to settle for a couple field goals in the first half against Lamar.

Needless to say, this game is very winnable even with all of our questions, but it would be really nice if we were healthy for the game. Hopefully, Tega and Brown injuries were just precautionary to make sure they were ready for this game.

Any word on Derick Hall? I thought he looked really good against Kent State and was getting good playing time, but his injury looked bad. He was holding his knee.
