Derrick Brown has been really good through 2 weeks despite Bryce Young’s lack of production on O. He also tried to follow Michael Thomas into the saints locker room last night to beat his arse

DB is one of my fav AU players ever. Sucks that he got stuck with a loser organization in his prime. Anyone surprised that Young broke less than five games into his career? Panthers are in for a long stretch of mediocrity…

Carlton Davis is back from injury and made 5 tackles and one PD. Dean still out I think. KJ Britt with 2 tackles too in 26-9 win over the Aints to go to 3-1. We should all be Bucs fans.

Auburn Made: Week 4 NFL rundown

quote:

Story Links Rudy Ford started the week off with an interception on Thursday Night Football, and C.J. Uzomah helped cap it with a touchdown grab on Sunday Night Football. That and more in this week's Auburn Made NFL rundown.

Defensive end Carl Lawson, also in a diminished role, seemed open to a trade as well. He's in the final year of his contract and due to make about $3.5 million for the remainder of the season. The former starter, a healthy scratch in two games, has only three tackles and no sacks.

Addressing trade rumors, Lawson said, "I definitely want to play and contribute. I know I can. I've proven that. Yeah, I always want to contribute, but right now I'm with the Jets, but I definitely want to play more. I definitely want to do what I did last year [seven sacks]. ... I'm a football player, not a cheerleader."

The 13-yard touchdown was the 43rd of his career, tying Steve Young for second all-time by a quarterback and trailing only Cam Newton (75) in NFL history.

Cam has some wiggle room staving off Josh Allen

Darius Slayton is shite talking Bama about this

Auburn had one of its most convincing wins in a long time (since Shula at least) against Bama that year in large part because of Auburn's tenacious defense and because Hurts could not complete a pass to save his life, but this meme goes to show you how much talent Bama has just sitting around, capable of becoming pro-bowlers at a moment's notice.

Meanwhile, Auburn's roster of note:
Stidham
Kerryon Johnson
Darius Slayton
Braden Smith
Derrick brown
Carlton Davis
Jamel Dean
****And the unheralded guys that walked around with big dicks on campus:
-Walk-on kicker Will Hastings
-2* Strong Safety Daniel Thomas
-5 foot 11 Middle Linebacker Deshaun Davis that Muschamp tried to kick off the team a couple years prior.*****

What this meme fails to show is the amount of mediocrity Bama was pre-Auburn game. Their offense was statistically fine, but Hurts wasn't doing enough to stir the drink. (But to be fair to Hurts: the tush push wasnt alive and well then.) Bama won all their games, but nobody respected the schedule because FSU ended up being shite that year. Hurts' lifeless performance against Auburn probably weighed on Saban's mind leading up to the National Championship which may have triggered the unorthodox benching in the National Championship Game. Saban's move then is just another reason why he is the GOAT today.

Darius Slayton is getting negative attention for the wrong reasons. He is bickering with his teammates on the sideline because they suck. They are 2-7 and frustrated.

To add insult to injury the giants made him take a paycut so that he could stay on the roster and now Slayton is getting paid less to endure this shite.

Slayton signed a deal during the off-season and got a bigger contact after that pay cut. They have the worst QB situation in the league and he nor any other receivers are even getting targets. He's still 2nd on the team in yards which is saying alot because he barely has 300 yards. The Giants stink

Instead of making a new thread, I decided it fit here. Nick Marshall of the CFL and GOAT AU QB post-Cam, was arrested in GA on felony gun charges. Looks like he was caught with a pistol with a fun switch.

Bigsby must not be doing great. Those hands will be his downfall after all.

quote:

Bigsby, 22, has just 27 touches so far (26 rushing attempts, one reception), but has fumbled twice and had two passes bounce off his hands for interceptions. The question now is whether he’ll get a chance, as Etienne said, to “weather the storm” in the last eight weeks of the season.

How is Derrick Brown, Carlton Davis, and the rest of our ballers doing?

Pretty disappointing for him, because the Jags were really high on him during camp and preseason. He had done a ton of work to get better catching but seems to have regressed there since the regular season started.

DB is on the worst team, but he does what he is supposed to do as well as you can ask of him. He is there to plug the middle and eat up blockers in the run game. Last game against the Bears he had 10 total tackles, 9 solo, and 2 TFL. He is averaging just over 4 solo tackles a game this year. Only has 1 sack, but that's not where he shines.

Carlton Davis had a toe injury earlier this season and has only played in 6 games. 4 Deflections and 26 total tackles. No picks.

At one point in Tank's senior season of high school Rivals Mike said Tank was the best pass catching back in the country. I guess Mike Farrell was wrong because he never came close to living up to that.

,War Eagle. Apologies to all. Let's talk football. Where is Parkey now? I know I have been persistent with KICKER U, but I dare anyone to put any other programs up against our kickers. You can start with Win Lyle (Yes, his fricking name is Win, AHS product, upperclassmen, friend). Outside of the unbelievable, but CRAZY LSU series not so long ago, our kickers have been money. No one should underestimate this point. Point in point. Bama's frick ups through the years have been special teams, especially kickers. frick us in the field goal game. John Vaughan was absolute goat. AS IN the original meaning of "goat." While they were signing 5* at all positions, they got their arse beat, multiple times by a fricking 2-3* kicker. At AU. So kicker you bama, right up the anus. Amen.
