Dipshit opinionators were trying to say our close wins against Georgia and Tennessee meant Duke is the better team when they had single digit games against Wake and at home to Notre Dame. On top of that putrid schedule.

Great game going on between Ark and UK. They hate Cal and all the players that followed him

So much more fun when SEC play every week impacts the national picture, and Auburn is currently the king.

Winning in the Pavilion with the shite we’ve dealt with there for the entirety of the Bruce era, and doing it that casually, just feels good.
It just felt good. They’d get close, Auburn would pound them back down. Every situation we had an answer.
EDIT: we looked like the number one team in the country.

I try to be nice to Torvik. I really do. I know what it is and what it’s meant to measure. I know it’s a predictive and all that and doesn’t care about results.
LINK
I don’t care that it still has a 4 loss Houston as its number one because they can crush the Utahs and UCFs of the world with insane efficiency margins, but neutral site losses to Bama, Auburn (which was still within the city of Houston), SDSU and a HOME LOSS to Texas Tech, and yet remain ahead of us in any sort of ranking no matter how it’s measured.
Torvik may be a useful tool but damn if it isn’t flawed.

We also dropped a Q1 win because of Miss State losing.

It’s time to have a conversation on the whistle Auburn gets. Broome is the best player in the country and doesn’t get calls like you see with most dominant big men.
Every game he gets pulled, shoved, grabbed, cut under etc and they let it go unchecked.

With the win yesterday we are 5-0 on the road in the SEC. We are guaranteed a winning record away from Auburn arena. We still have away games at Memorial, Coleman, Rupp and Reed arena.

Why does that happen? It was a quad win when Auburn beat Miss St so it should stay. Similar to beating a number one team. After that team drops you still beat a number one team no matter what they are ranked thereafter.
So the team has to stay a quad one team all year for it to qualify as a quad one win for the other?

Yep we are now 12-1 in Q1 games.
Mississippi state, LSU wins are going to teeter right at that Q1 line.
OU Tuesday night will be a Q2 opportunity.
We still have 7/8 more Q1 chances remaining in the regular season. Some will depend obviously on how things shake out the rest of the way.
