He’s going to show back up at some point. The question is when. I could see him waiting on another regular season loss or two, if not then definitely after anything short of an final four.

Tough L. Just got outplayed by a really dang good team. Good reminder that we are far from invincible.

Broome has really struggled around the rim lately and that’s something that just has to change for us to reach our ceiling.

Definitely concerning that our two losses have come against the two teams with the best defensive bigs. Now Duke and UF bigs are good as any we will see but both would be a really tough matchup should we see them in the tourney.

Another concern is how poor Denver has been offensively in a couple of our bigger games. He shoulders a large load defensively and that’s part of it but he’s got to be better than bad.

I continue to like what I see from Kelly even if he missed a couple gimmes tonight.

All in all it sucked but we need to continue to be exposed and getting better.

I'll be pretty upset with less to be fair

We had an off night all around. Denver poor on both ends. CBM poor on both ends. Cardwell not as sharp. Broome missing easy layups.

Will be interesting to see how they bounce back

They were the aggressor and we didn't respond. We were 12-27 at one point at the rim and just struggled getting into the game. We normally play with an attitude and an edge and it just never showed up today. Hopefully we get it back Tuesday because vandy is going to come at us just as hungry

Yeah we just got beat at the point of attack on both ends. We are the type of team that has to play like we are trying to prove something and tonight we played like we had already proven something

Yeah I don’t want to be headed to Tuscaloosa next Saturday trying to right the ship. Need a good and focused 40 minutes Tuesday

If Duke loses tonight I think Auburn will remain #1.

I also think bama loses at Arky

Just watched the recording. Gators killed us from 3 and I hope Bruce watches and disects how they do those little rub screens beyond the arc to get their guys open even when our guys were close by. Their two bigs are deceptively athletic and they ate us alive in the paint.

Can’t figure out why Broome is missing so many layups. He hasn’t been the same since he came back from his ankle injury. Seems like it’s disrupted his rhythm under the bucket. Even in wins he’s missed a ton of layups the last 4 or 5 games.

We didn’t decide to play defense until the 10 minutes mark in the 2nd half for some inexplicable reason but it was too late. Can’t slack off for even one minute in this league or you’ll get beat even if you have a great team. So many good ones in this league.

We’ll bounce back.

He seems a little rushed inside lately. Probably a rhythm thing after missing some time in the grind of SEC play? He’s so good because of the way he plays at his own pace and hasn’t been doing that lately

I felt like in the first couple of games back he was settling for bad shots, maybe because he lacked the mobility and or confidence to work his way into better looks. Today he got great looks just couldn't make a layup. I liked the way he tried to play today more and just have to hope he finds that touch around the rim again

At least we didn’t lose to an unranked Clemson team.

I don’t see Alabama jumping Auburn. If they hold on to win at Arky, Auburn will be #1 and bama will be #2.

And Cooper Flagg crumbles again in a close game and turns the ball over for the 3rd time this season to coat his team a chance to win

ESPN blowing off Flagg all game. And now pumping Alabama to be number 1 lol

This is all my fault I was at Bama all day today for the Bama High School Honor Band festival. In any case, though there are no good losses, this was a good one to bring us back to earth a bit and also work on getting better to make a run in the tournament. Onward and Upward.
