yeah... we literally win our first national championship in 50+ years and people found tons of stuff to complain about (mostly defense)... not that there weren't obvious issues, but some people just can't stop and enjoy things.
It's the beginning of a new era... the past is the past... time to get on board, IMO.

I'm definitely on board. But I will complain about shitty defense, I just miss our nasty AU defense. It has been lacking since 2008.

I am interested to see who is on top of the depth chart at OL and DL after this spring. Most of the guys that will play are already on campus at these positions. If both of these positions improve then we got a shot to be solid next season

I'm not sure what our record will be this year, but I think Auburn will be fun to watch with Gus controlling the O. Would love to see an upset of LSU, UGA, or UAT somewhere along the way.
ETA: We get the Dawgs and Gumps both at home this year IIRC. Has that ever happened?

I enjoyed the 2010 season as much as anyone, but yeah, I do miss having a nasty arse defense. 
Also, in the "New Day" video, was that Mason with the orange #21 jersey? I like that kid. He has a great, hard working attitude. I thought he would be in at least a blue jersey.

People complained because it was obvious that outside of a couple of players, our defense was not playing on the kind of level that consistently wins in the SEC. When your head coach is a NC winning defensive coordinator, something is not right when you're coming up in the bottom of the defensive statistical categories on a regular basis.
And fwiw, I wasn't one of those people. I thought we would be fine down the road after 2010.

I am ready for the season to get going. I really feel good about this coaching staff and we can have a good turnaround this year. If that is being homer than that's me, Homer B. Plainsmen.
