Aren't they all on hold due to the lawsuits? I know that contractors to the Gov here in Fl are on hold as the State has sued.

They extended it to a date in January can’t remember the exact date.

They extended it to January 18 and now with all the lawsuits and federal judges striking it down everywhere, who knows if it will even take effect.
Auburn could still mandate it, they just don’t have cover of the federal government when they start getting sued over it.

You are correct about the date being extended, but misinformed about the courts. There are two mandates (1) For Federal Contractors such as Auburn and second mandate (2) for companies with over 100 employees.
The courts have struck down #2 (Companies with over 100 employees), that is NOT in effect. But Auburn as a Federal Contractor must still comply by January 18th. I am unaware of any pending lawsuits, etc.
NOTE: Faculty have until December 15th to either have received the vaccine, or show appointments to have it done by January 4th or received an accommodation (Religious/Medical). This was done to ensure classes are established for the Spring Semester and the need to include in the syllabus.
NOTE: I believe Harsin has been vaccinated.

Auburn University is rubber stamping every requested exemption.

Federal judges have halted the mandate for federal workers in multiple states, including Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio. There are multiple other states that have filed suit as well. Its only a matter of time this goes to SCOTUS.
I’m not misinformed.

I do too, not based off any bit of knowledge just out of the hope that he has been this whole time and is screwing with people like the douche from al.com

The preliminary injunction issued by U.S. District Judge Gregory F. Van Tatenhove stops the mandate from taking effect in Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio.
Is Alabama included? (Not at this time) It may happen.

I don't have a problem if people want to take the shot or not but we shouldn't be forced to do it and if you are interested here is Pfizer data from their testing. LINK Take a look at table 1 & 2 data

The most surprising thing here for me is that JFIII is on an NFL roster.

He’s not. He was in August but has been cut since then. He’s a FA.

Auburn suspends Vaccine Mandate due to the Dec. 7th Federal Court Ruling.
When Auburn University announced its compliance with the federal contractor vaccine mandate in October, we noted that the mandate may be challenged in court and that we would monitor and communicate any developments.
This morning, a federal judge issued an order that prohibits the federal government from enforcing its vaccine mandate for federal contractors, including universities.
Given this development, Auburn is pausing enforcement of its vaccine policy. We will continue to monitor legal challenges to the most recent court order and communicate any further modifications in response to legal developments.
The university’s face coverings policy remains in effect.
Further guidance will be shared prior to Dec. 17.
NOTE: Prior to this time the rulings have been for the employer (OSHA) ruling.
