why would anyone be upset with what Harsin said in his tweet?
I can't answer for your downvoters but a person who screws up a football team as badly as Harsin screwed up at Auburn should just go away quietly and keep his mouth shut in hopes that after a few years of laying low, his failures will no longer be front page news and someone will hire him.

Since y'all are downvoting maybe answer this for me, why would anyone be upset with what Harsin said in his tweet?
Looks at his tweets since getting fired.
He 1000% doesn’t think him getting fired is his own fault. That will give you a start why no one’s going to like anything he says.

If a coach wants to make a statement about another program he will not hide behind “Anonymous” he will say it publicly & with authority.
Like this actually happens. We never see more than PC, coaches are too chicken shite to call out other programs, much less offend their own boosters.

I took it as him saying he thinks the "anonymous coach" claim is likely not as claimed.
And he is doing this because only himself is getting bootyblasted by the so-called coaches. Those anonymous coaches might be made up but I appreciate the narrative "Oh poor Harsin as a Bama fan I just think Auburn did him dirty. He just needed time" is getting put to rest.

I don’t care what Harsin has to say. He is by far the worst Auburn football coach in my lifetime and that includes Barfield.
I don’t have a problem with what he said but he’s wrong about coaches talking about other programs anonymously. Plus I don’t think that was even the point of his post it was basically telling the anonymous coach to say it with his chest. No one is going to bite on that and if someone actually did Harsin would make some excuse about the Auburn PTB. We’ve already heard his story. It’s bullshite. He was given a Top 15 program and a member of the Big 6 in the SEC and completely crashed and burned.

Bryan Harsin @CoachHarsin
Coaches do not make these kind of comments.
(if he had stopped right there)

I’m not even sure who you’re referring to? Me?
Posted on 6/4/24 at 7:46 am to Weagle25
I think he is referring to those that dont like us speculating as if there more rhsn frick all on TV. "Guys just let it play out"
or
Those that think everything is irrelevant. Or the sunshine "I trust Malzahn, I trust Harsin, I trust Bruce"
If you arent walking the line then people dont like you. AuburnEagle loved Corch until he threatened to choke a bitch.

I’m aware of what he’s referring to. Just don’t know why it came up in this thread

Slap a bitch but that wasn’t what got me banned. What got me banned was calling out Titan for going with the Josh Moon bullshite about Bob Stoops. We disagreed so he followed me around to every thread and I finally just said can you get off my jock. Ban land immediately.

Yes I was gonna slap a bitch. Took things to personal on the hidden forum on the Fambly board. So I called his arse out in the public forum.
I got the ol’ you can’t talk about what’s on the private forum but I made no mention of the private forum. Only person I told on there was Jang in a PM.
I’m actually a pretty laid back dude to be high strung like I am but another man ain’t gonna call me out and say they gonna slap me and me be like ok this just internet banter. frick them sissy bitches.
But Jang is right He and Ellitor saw it all go down in real time. shite I considered those folks my “friends” especially Bird. We had Thanksgiving planned together.
When RIR took over it went way to much Auburn Eagle mods and not near enough Family mods. Changed the entire dynamics of sensitive sissies.
Granted I like the piss and vinegar on here so I adapted with an edge. Sorry not sorry. I could still discuss X’s and O’s all day but not much traction on the site for it.
I’m conformed and trying to return to the nice guy been trying for a bit I think since around last March. I can get pulled in sometimes but we Gucci

Harsin was winning 10-11 games a year and challenging UGA and Bama for the SEC Championship, I'd be converting to Mormonism.
Haskin had me fooled since day 1 (kinda like Bama’s new coach)
•He had the highest win % of active coaching behind Saban and I believe Kirby.
•His press conference he seemed tough, hard nose.. which reminded me of Dye.
•We started off 4-1 with a close loss at Beaver Stadium
After that things started to derail and the MSU loss solidified it, but I brushed it off thinking some guys not buying into the Dye Era toughness then about the rumors with Hottie Honey causing problems
After we let him go, the truth came out and boy was I sold snake oil! How HS coaches in our state never even met him…. We would have been better hiring Kevin Steele for the interim until Freezus could get the nod from the SEC office to return.

Don't feel bad. You are not the only one. A lot of Auburn fans wanted to believe that Harsin was the guy who could turn things around. There were very few of us who were opposed from day 1. People saw the win-loss numbers at Boise and decided that Harsin was a good hire.
The win-loss numbers didn't tell the whole story. Winning a lot of games in the Mountain West conference is not the same as winning a lot of games in the SEC.I don't care what anybody says, the ability to beat UNLV does not mean that you can coach a team that can beat Alabama or Georgia. That is like saying that you are ready for the head coaching job at Auburn because you had great success coaching HS football.
He preached discipline and work ethic. Both are necessary but no substitute for a workable game plan.
He believed that there was no need to recruit top players because he was such a great coach that he could coach up a 2 or 3 star player to play like a 4 star. That is nice when it happens but you can't count on it. A lot of 2&3 star players does not give you the talent level that is necessary to compete in the SEC. He wound up not recruiting at all and Auburn has suffered as a result.
